Great for your future little singer. My daughter & niece love to sing the song pre-recorded on it. They also love to just sing into along with a favorite song.
Grandaughter loved it...
I was actually looking for a microphone, but this toy is just a speaker shaped like a microphone. My girls love it though, it plays one song, but you can plug it in a radio, mp3 player and it will play whatever is playing.... it's just a speaker, the kids love it though
The barbie sing-a-long mic was not what I was expecting. At the time I ordered the microphone it wasn't sold in stores so I didn't get an opportunity to see it in person and went off the image online. Needless to say the mic is just for "pretending" to sing along with songs. The microphone is complete plastic even the mic head. It does hook into the MP3 player and works as like a "speaker" that amplifies the music so that your child can sing along with the music, but it doesn't amplify your child's voice.
