I am a woman and I ended up buying a man's watch because I didn't like the selection of women's watches. This watch turned out to be just what I needed. It is durable and works great. I've even gone swimming in it.
I usually never take the time to write reviews online, I'm doing the exeption today, due to the fact of this is a great wrist watch. I have owned Armitron watches for years, they are really good long lasting inexpensive watches, and after choosing online for many Armitron watches, this one get my eye due the easy to read display and simple and clear big numbers to read at day or nigth.
A very nice and useful watch. Dual time feature is great you can set 2 different time zones. Backlight illumination also works very well.
This is the second of these Armitron watches I have owned. The stainless steel trim on this watch means that it will allways retain its appearance. The tri-colored LCD display looks great. I wear this watch everyday, except for rare formal affairs - in the water, digging in dirt - whatever. The only shortcoming is the non-replaceable strap, which broke on my first watch after about two years. But, at this price, I was very happy to find that this watch is atill available - a great buy!
This watch is simple yet stylish. With it's multi-colored display, comfortable wristband and chrome face. For the money, this is a great product.
So far this has proved to be a good buy at an excellent price. It has a large display & looks significantly better than most watches at this price.
Great watch, have owned it for 16 month, but the band broke and it's impossible to get a new one for it.
About 2 years ago I bought this same exact watch for $9.99. And now it is selling for $18. I will buy it at $18 because I really like it. It has all the features I need. Time , date and day are right up front all the time in numerals big and clear so you don't have to strain your eyes. The only bad thing is you can not find a replacement strap. Mine broke and since the band is black I mended it with black electrical tape so it is very hard to notice unless you look real close. After 2 years I think I got my monies worth and some things are going wrong with it that I can't fix.
I've just received this watch, and the only problem that I have with it, is that before purchasing, I asked a question re how many alarms were on this watch, as I require 2. I was told that it had 5, plus a snooze mode. However, it actually only comes with one. Other than that, I don't see any immediate problems & all previous reviews were 5 stars, so I'm not worried about the quality.
This is a great low-key watch. I got it to wear on a trip to Europe -- something that wouldn't attract much attention or make me look wealthy, as many flashy watches do at first glance. It has great features -- easy to set, easy to switch to 24-hour time, loud alarm (for a watch), and so on. The colors of the backlight are a nice touch. Unfortunately, this watch is much bigger than it looks. I originally got an Armitron from Target, but when I found this watch -- which looks exactly the same in the photo -- I decided to save some money by returning the other one and cashing in a gift card on this one. When I got the watch it was very large and not at all low-key. I kept the Target one and returned this. If you don't mind the size, the functionality is great and it's a great price.
