This watch was a gift, pretty decent watch. I little confusing on the settings of the watch, but once you figure them out, not bad.
When it came in the mail, the watch to me was huge, like a casio "G" Shock. The picture on the walmart web sight clearly does not give this watch any justice. This watch is clearly worth the money and then some. I totally recommend this watch to anyone who likes large watches. Right now I am looking to buy another Armitron style watch. BUY one and you will not be dissapointed. Oh, and the back light, AWESOME....
This is a nice watch for the price. Goes on quickly. Fits perfectly. Good digital screen. Stop watch,timer, day/date. Works very well and looks cool. Get one.
Cannot figure all the functions without referring to the instructions, but the watch is easy to read, and would be a good value at twice the price.
A very cool watch. The face is like a translucent silvery-orange metal that looks amazing. It makes it very easy to see the watch face in darker light and also has a back light should you need it. Nice, big display, simple to use and durable. Also, it has an extra hing where it wraps around the wrist which makes it more comfortable. I don't know why more vinyl watch bands don't have that. My husband loves his.
My husband loves this watch - he has said so half a dozen times already. He doesn't have to put on his reading glasses to see what time it is. The only bad thing about it is that the instructions on how to set the TIME are useless. We had to Google how to set Armitron watch. The key is this. Once you Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing - (This is the alarm time), then Press the "ST/STP" button to change the time.
I like the watch itself to rate it 5 stars, but I would give it 1 or 2 stars for the band..i loved it when it had the silver metal band..it was more durable..i had bought two..one for dress and the other for activities..the day i lost one, i searched to buy another..i was very surprised when all I could find was the watch with the black resin band..i wrote the company wondering if they would ever bring back the metal band..the reply I got was that they had other watches I may like..a typical chumped out answer..so I bought the watch anyway..im a bit disappointed that the resin band lasted almost a year before it tore away..i understand there isn't a replacement band..*sigh*...
I've had this watch for a month. I rarely find a cheap watch that I really like but I love this one. It looks expensive, has big bold numbers, a stopwatch, alarm, and is rated water resistant to 330 ft. (haven't tested that yet). The top display for day of the week and seconds is very small, but in stopwatch mode, seconds are clearly displayed. It is light but thick -- tough to put button a dress shirt sleeve over it but great for casual wear. I highly recommend.
I really thought it was going to be great,cause it was like cheaper than spending the gas to buy the same thing at a store.There is one problem though.The date is set for leap year,and nomatter how many times I try,I cannot change it.I have followed the directions every time,but the watch still does not allow the date to even be reached,other than showing it when pressed.
