This is a great starter set for kids. It gives them the opportunity to try water-paints, but in a smaller set. My grandsons really enjoyed painting several pic's with this set—flowers, landscapes and just about everything they saw!! I highly recommend this set—its not too big, but still gives them an idea of what they can create!! Very reasonable price!! Easily cleans up with water!!
The Cra-Z-Art Washable Watercolor Paints with Brush work great. I've used other brands too and find these are just as good if not better. Me and my children are not professional artists, but these do what we need them to do which is color using a brush and colors mixed with water. I put a little bit of water on each color before my son started using them and then provided him a small container with water to rinse his brush before using a different color. He had fun using the watercolors.
These watercolor paints work well. The colors show up nicely on the paper and are simple to use and the paints and brush can be packed away nicely in the container for future use. It works well with one dip in the water and a light brush along the paint to get the brush filled nicely compared to other kinds of paints. It's much nicer than other ones I've bought where I opened them up to find dried out pucks of paint that don't work and ruin the brush just trying to get enough on there to transfer to the paper. My 2 yr old and 5 yr old both had fun painting with these ones and produced nice results.
We enjoy using washable watercolor Paints by Cra-z-Art! I love how the case is sleek and easy for the kids to use! This pack comes with 8 vibrant color paints just ready to use with a splash of water. Included in the case also is a ready to use paint brush. I love that the paints are easy to clean up, and non toxic. I would definately recommend these water color paints for back to school or any art time fun!
The Cra-Z-Art Washable Watercolor Paints with Brush, 8 Colors , is a good kit for really little ones under 6, but older kids might want more colors to choose from. I usually buy the 16 watercolor paints by Crayola but these do just fine. I would recommend these for schools and teachers because they are less expensive than Crayola and has all the basic colors needed for art projects.
This review is for the cra-z-art washable watercolor paints with paintbrush. The kit comes in a slim plastic box that opens and closes easily. The kit has 8 colors, dark green, light green, blue, yellow, orange, red, purple and brown. The brush has nylon like bristles. Overall it's a good little kit for smaller children, my 7 year old enjoys using it.
Overall all ok product. When I receive this item it had something in the red paint and it was sealed so I'm guessing it was when it was manufactured. No big deal for me since it was easy to remove. My kids enjoy water colors and these were no exception. Easy to use and travel friendly. I like paint like this since it less messy than pouring paint in a paint palette. It comes with all the basic colors. Kid approved.
I like these Cra-Z-Art washable watercolor paints. It has 8 different pretty colors, but you can really explore the ranges of each color by adding more or less water. You can also mix as many of the colors that you want together and be creative, creating your own colors that fit your painting. I felt safe using these because they are washable. I put newspaper down on my white plastic table and then we used watercolor paper to actually paint on. They blended beautifully and were easy to use. The cleanup was so easy afterwards. I just wiped the white table with a washcloth and that cleaned up the last little bits of paint that happened to seep through my newspaper and the watercolor paper. The paints did come with 1 paintbrush, so I got one of my own that I already had to use additionally. Overall, fun activity and cute pictures that we made. I like how when I was done with the paints, that I could just simply close its hinged lid!
This paint is great for toddlers. It works great for littles because it seemed it didn't matter how much water was added there was plenty of pigment when transferred to the paper. With that said, there probably is not that many uses left. Maybe 4-6 times if the same amount of water is applied. It's hard to tell on the picture but I liked how the colors were pastel or light in color. Instead of how most kids water color paints are vivid and bright. The paint itself comes off of little fingers easily and easily off of tables as well. I have not tested on clothes yet. That will be the true test.
I wanted to like these. We ran out of our other paints so I bought these in a pinch. After 10 minutes the white tray could be seen under some of the paints. I tried washing a little one's hands 4 times and they are still quite blue. Very disappointed. I've noticed a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews but they are incentivized reviews so take that with a grain of salt.
