I probably paid a little more for the game but it was part of a bundle with a headset and together it was a good value.
I fell in love with this game at first sight; I love history and being able to roam around Boston and New York in 1770's is amazing. You meet several important people from history and get to interact with them as well. I've played all of the Assassin's Creed games and this is the best, it doesnt have as rich of a story as Ezio but you fall in love with Connor in your own way. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be about pirates and I'm counting down the seconds until it's release.

Ordered this game about a week before Christmas, arrived 3 days later. Can't beat the sale price of $40.. Ordered the bundle deal of 2 Xbox games for $79. My son has been playing non stop. Great game!
I ordered this for my two grandsons and it came in the mail three days earlier than predicted. They happened to be at my house on the day it came in and I got all kinds of hugs and kisses!
Definitely not for young players, very graphic assassinations and some colorful language in a few places. The "M" for mature rating is appropriate. I really enjoyed the historical references and the addition of being able to use the high masted ships was awesome! So many things one can do in this game, besides the main mission.

I ordered the package (console, extra controller, and game Assassins Creed 3). Everything has been great; however, the downfall with this order was the game arrived 3 days after the console because it shipped from California and whereas the console and controller shipped from PA.. So even though the console arrived fast I still could not play the system because the game arrived last.
Exactly what I was looking for. Can get lost wandering the woods just hunting. There are glitches and bugs here and there but not enough to ruin the game for me. If you are looking for Assassin's Creed and a sandbox world this is the game for you.
