Period story is great just what was expected. Made a great gift.
100% recommended
very good bargin two for $79.00
Assas greed 3 is an amazing game no doubt. I love the walmart ship to home. The game on shelf was 29 and change I got it for about 10 less than my local store retails, and I got it on the same day. It was even cheaper than the ama zon. Wally keep up the good work on offering cheap games I don't have to buy in sore in electronics.
Graphics keep getting better. Speed and interactivity of game has come a long way.
I won't bore anyone with an extremely long review, so I'll attempt to keep it short. The visuals of the game were quite good for it to be on a PS3, but Ubisoft was very deceiving in claiming it would bring the look of "Next Gen" to consoles. It failed to do so in my opinion. For PC, yes, the game looks superb and if you have a good graphics card, the visuals are stunning. As for the story and gameplay, both are excellent, though if you're looking for a captive and emotional story like with previous Assassin's Creed games with Ezio and Altair, you'll be disappointed. As I understand it, the team that constructed Assassin's creed 2 through Revelations weren't a part of the making of AC3. This could probably be because Ubisoft wanted to give the player a different feel of the new character (Connor) and the atmosphere by bringing in a new team to make the game. In that sense, they did just that. Whether it was for the better or worse, that's up to you. There are a couple of minor bugs--those I'm sure you've already read about, but it's nothing too serious that will intrude with the gameplay much and/or take from the experience. It's small things, like your horse getting stuck in crevices of things and glitching about until you move around enough to get free, etc. The only bug that I'd say is particularly annoying are those in which take away from QT events. At times in the game when the camera is supposed to pan in on your character for dramatic effect and essentially 'guide' you in the path you're supposed to go.. it just won't do it. This happened quite a few times, and I ultimately had to YouTube where to go in one particular instance near the end of the game because I just didn't know where to go and kept failing with the few seconds the mission would give me to catch up to someone. Overall, great addition to the series and I hope Ubisoft has more for the Assassin's Creed franchise up their sleeves.
It was a gift for my brother. He loves the game!!
Great multiplayer. Changes from ACR are solid, namely the increase of the cooldown on Smoke Bomb. However, Knives have become the new one-shot fix to everything as they now stop kills and stuns for about one second. Also, the kill/stun range from smoke is insane. As for the singleplayer, I haven't played much of it but the first sequence said it all: awesome graphics, smooth gameplay and an interesting story.
Completing my collection 'cause I love this series and I got it FAST!!!!!!
Didn't meet expectations. Television commercials made it look better than it actually is.
