Love it, Love it, Love it. It does exactly what it says it does. Just change the water and your ready to go.
easy to use and really works
I purchased this as a Christmas Gift for a family member. She loved it and kept thanking me. I went over to see what the big deal was. She cleaned my diamond with it. I went out and bought one the next day. It is as good as any cleaner in a jewelry store!
I use mostly to clean my eye glasses each morning. Much stronger cleaning than the two other regular Haier cleaners I wore out. Love the variable timer also. And its just slightly larger allowing my new glasses to fit inside much better. Well worth the extra few bucks for the deluxe model.
I hated cleaning my jewelry with the toxic cleaner that you could not use on soft stones. I decided to order this and I love the fact that it uses just water and if you want just a little dish dertergent. It has worked wonderfully, my jewelry shines as if new!!!!
I bought this for my wife because every year we'd take her jewelry to be cleaned and wanted to cut out the middle man. I now use this for my glasses and it works amazingly. It has the different time settings which is a great feature. This is a must-buy.
Helpful hint: Use HOT water! I ran this thing 3 times and was starting to think of returning it, but the 4th time I checked, the water was hot and the rings were starting to be cleaned!! After the 6th run they are looking marvelous!! I haven't cleaned my rings in about 5 years so they were pretty wrecked! The instructions just say to use water, but you need hot water otherwise you're just wasting time. It is somewhat noisy, but more static sounding than machine sounding. It's not as loud as a washer or dryer! If you have an ionizer, it makes that sort of sound.
This is a very basic jewelry cleaner. I got what I paid for.
This is a low end jewelry cleaner which I realized before I bought it. However, for the price, I thought it would be useful. So far, it does clean the jewelry--but it takes several repeated full time cycles to clean only moderately dirty diamonds. The unit is VERY noisy--and this is troublesome to me. Knowing what I now know about this product, I would not recommend it to others, and I would have preferred to have spent more money to receive better quality. This is not a good value -- despite the low price.
Pros: The product is in a convenient package for the table-top. The functions worked great. Not a large price tag. Ordering was easy. Cons: The product did not live up to the cleaning of a pair of glasses or a ring that we tried. The items were not even that dirty to begin with. I was hoping that this non-chemical unit was the perfect answer...it was not.
