The HP Touchsmart computer is the easiest computer I have ever owned! Since it is wireless, there was only the electrical connection to deal with; the touchscreen made it very easy to issue commands, even without using the keyboard or mouse. The 20" size is perfect for my desk and having the monitor and hard drive contained within the monitor saves space. I am continually amazed by the ease of use with this computer. Everything is menu-driven and easy help screens are always available.
I LOVE THIS PC! I have been using mine now for 2 months and have only had once problem, it includes a yr of support, so i did an online chat with HP and it was immediately solved. Even when i had doubts of what the guy was telling me was wrong, what he told me to do worked! I play World of Warcraft and get a steady 60fps while playing this game.... excellent!
I love it, at the moment that I picked up the box and took out the computer I was in love with, really nice and the touchscreem is fun too. I have a HP laptop and I really enjoy it, so I decided go for HP on my Desktop too. HP always! Great computer!
I bought this computer last night for my own personal use.. We absolutely love this computer... Great for playing games or just browsin the web. Highly recommend this HP.
this is such a easy computer to use bought this for my son for christmas ,i got it out and played with it a little,hp has done such a great job ive owned a hp before, plus a dell laptop ,and a emachines desktop,hp is a lot better computer than the other brands ive bought from now on only hp !!!!
Very good PC ... definitely went the right way with the all-in-one. Very good speed, lots of memory and just a wonderful overall appreance. I use it every chance I get ... very nice "amenities" in a PC like Hulu, Netflix, different photo ops. It has a webcam and a mic!!!!!! ... unbelievable that you get all of this for a price under $900.
Great!!!!! Easy to use touch screen. Sets up in seconds. Saves a lot of space on your desk. All in one set up. Even has a Wi-Fi so going online is a snap if you have a wireless modem otherwise you just have to plug in a cord. ****This is not a gaming computer so it cant be ungraded with a graphics card but otherwise its great. Comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Screen is large and super clear. Sound is crisp and speakers are right in the front. Comes with Windows 7 and you dont have to upgrade to anything higher since it has all you need. Def Recommend!
this desktop is wonderful it was very very easy to set up took all of 20-30 minutes and ready to go -great for families my kids range from 7-16 and all use it with ease only con is that i cannot find a screen protector for it anywhere and this is a neccesity with a touchscreen and kids.
The support from HP was outstanding however they could not fix the many problems with this new machine either by phone or email. After over a week of problems I returned it to Walmart. Very slow, droping programs, Web Cam would not work. However I was so happy with HP suppord I purchased another HP computer (laptop to use as a desk top and after 2 hours getting set up it is working great.
To whom this may concern, My two sons and I purchased this computer, the HP TouchSmart 300-1003 Desktop PC, as a gift for my wife on Christmas day 2009. The machine worked great for the first couple of months and she loved it. However, around mid February it began to have a problem where it would shut off suddenly after about 15 to 20 minutes of use. In order to turn in back on the user would have to unplug the computer then plug it back in and turn the machine on and the result would be only about 10 – 15 minutes of use. I called the HP support number and the technician was unable to find a “problem code” that pin pointed the problem. The solution was reached that HP would send a box under the warranty and have it shipped to Jeffersonville, IN to be repaired. This was of course after they told me I had no other option to take it somewhere closer. After about a week, including the pick-up at my door and the receiving of the finished work, we hooked the computer up and started it back up. In the mean time I was reading the long list of all repairs made and I looked up and the computer had shut off – problem not fixed. I called the tech support again and was put on hold for quite a long time and bounced to a few different departments. I got a technician who told me they would have to get the computer shipped back out again for repairs or he said I could take it to a Best Buy or Staples for repair, something a previous tech said I could not do. In my opinion this computer is not a great value and I have yet to get knowledgeable technical support from HP. The service they provide for correcting the problem is sluggish.
