Living in a hurricane area, I've been put off by many of the reviews on aluminum flag poles, and have been looking for a reasonably priced 15-18 foot pole. This is the best-reviewed galvanized steel pole I could find and I'm not disappointed! My ONLY negative is that the holes pre-drilled for the cleat put it only about 18" off the ground. Being 70 years old and 6'3", I moved it to the second section, about chest-high, and filled the lower holes in with epoxy. I also waxed the pole before I set it up...looks great. The photo of just the lower section show how low the original cleat holes were (tough to really see because of the epoxy).
Product seems fine, only thing negative is it does not have metal cap at top which means it can not support a solar light mounted on top.
When I got the package it was beat to death ! got the pole, No rope, no sleeve, no flag
