Convenient and effective. Good value.
This was a gift for my best friend's son when he turned six. However every kid from 3-12 at the party played with it and now my 4 and 6 year old son and daughter have been asking for one. I like the fact that it did what it says it does, it can attach to additional items you can buy, and it is educational. His mom says it's better than him keeping all the bugs he catches in pop bottles!
We ordered this unique product for our 5 year old son. It met and exceded our expectations. Not only is it fun, and gentle to the bugs, but it has proven to be informative. The user is able ot view the insect through a built in magnifier and release on will. Our son is all boy and it is still holding up to continuous use. I'd buy it again and again!
My son had been wanting one of these "bug suckers" for a while. I finally broke down and ordered one. He hasn't put it down since it arrived! He loves showing me everything he finds. Highly recommended for your little explorers!!!
I saw this product on the Today show and decided to get it for my 9 year old grandson. He loves it! You can catch bugs and look at them up close and then release them. Does just what the product says it will do. Also, Walmart's price is the lowest of any I checked.
I use this when I feed my fire belly toads. They eat small crickets, so instead of dealing with touching them, I just vacuum them up! I also don't have to worry about losing them either. The vacuum isn't very strong so you can't vacuum very large bugs, but it works great for small ones.
My daughter got this for Christmas and of all her presents, this is the one she has played with the most & absolutely loved from day one. It's easy to use and encourages a tv-watching, video-game crazed generation, to get outside and explore. I'm very pleased with it. It is study also. I like that it comes with two magnifying attachments. My only negative comment would be that I feel it's a bit pricey but then again, isn't everything these days. I do highly recommend it as a unique and educational gift for anyone.
This was for my grandson who is in to bugs. He loves the vacuum he will be 4 years old in June.
Over all this vacuum sucks up most tiny bugs. The bigger bugs, like medium to small size beetles don't go into the vacuum very well and the spiders clinging to their webs don't get sucked up very easily. My kids had hours of fun sucking up tiny bugs and ants and what not. Its easy to use and fun for both my 4 year old and my 10 year old.
This was a hit with my 3 year old grandson. He loves bugs and other "creepy-crawlies" he comes across in the backyard. Now he can vacuum them into this toy and look at them up close.
