I wanted a sturdy, heavy music stand like the “tanks” used in schools that get beat around. This was it until I saw the tilt mechanism was made out of plastic. Albeit tough plastic….still, 10 years from now after it ages and breaks the whole stand will be useless. I would have gladly paid more for it to be all metal.
