Living in FL near the ocean, I have gone through several umbrella weights/ stands because of metal rot/failure. The fact that this is plastic makes that a moot point. I like that it has a “handle” to carry or move it. 50 lbs is heavy!
Perfect! What a bargain for a high quality addition to my porch set up. The base is very sturdy and heavy as claimed. The bronze color meshes perfectly with my umbrella hue and the deck boards. The screw mechanism works fine and so far it's done a great job supporting the umbrella - no wobbles or instability at all. The umbrella is also supported by a small table with a hole, but the base is exactly what we wanted and has a small enough footprint that your feet don't feel crowded undertable. Excellent umbrella base!
price was perfect and so was the product as it was a seamless fit
The stand is very heavy and holds the umbrella in place. Very windy where I live but the umbrella hasn't budged. I like the small profile. Would buy again if needed.
Finally!! A stand that keeps my umbrella in place and not flying across the yard with a gust of wind. Holds the pole tightly and is heavy enough that it actually doesn't need to be filled with sand.

It is extremely heavy it comes full with a very hard almost concrete inside . Not god for an elderly person to handle . I need to use my hand cart to put it in the yard . Because it is way too heavy to move .
what I dislike about the delivery was the box open I had a big hole in it where some of the water came out.
Although the product was delivered before it was promised, the item was clearly previously used and defective. I was also disappointed that it appears I cannot return this in person to a Walmart store - the shipping package was damaged beyond repair so mailing it back will be more difficult, although I recognize this is a 50 lb product so shipping is difficult to begin with. It was defective as I could not turn the screw used to secure the umbrella pole and it had a bunch of white residue around the screw area. Had the item worked properly I'm sure I would be able to give it a much better rating.
I got plastic one... light weight...?
