This fire pit is perfect for everyday use in the backyard and you really cannot beat the price! Both my Mom and I have purchased this model and I cannot think of a better spend.
i gave this as a graduation gift & i'm buying another as a house-warming gift.
This product arrived very quickly using Site to Store and was in good condition. It was as stated in the product specifications. I gave it to a friend of mine for her birthday and she loved it! I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable this fall!
We enjoy the firepit we've purchased and use it every weekend. I don't know if larger versions are available but would purchase a larger one if we could. We have a 1 acre lot and could build a bigger fire. This size, however, is perfect for the average yard.
for those that love campfires, fireplaces, roasting marshmallows, or just sitting around a nice fire for a while, this is the perfect product. We love ours.
We live in Florida and this fireplace has been used almost non-stop since we received it. Everynight we place a duralog in it and sit in our patio chairs by it. It is low enough that we can put it under our open but covered porch without worry of fire or soot on our ceiling. This item is great and it makes such a great feel to any get together. Much better than the real tall ones that take up so much space and can push pieces of burnt wood out the side when burning down.
I would recommend this product. It was easy to assmble and easy to use. If you are not looking to spend a ton of money on a firepit this would be a good one to purchase. Just make sure you it on cement, or buy bricks to put underneathe, not on the grass, unless you don't want green grass you have to mow.
We haven't used this firepit yet, but so far, we are very satisfied with this purchase. We bought it because we wanted something where we would be able to have a small campfire to toast marshmallows without worrying as much about starting a forest fire. We can also use it to burn private documents that we do not want to anyone to get a hold of - better than shredding. It's just enough for what we want. The price was right for us.
When I received this product the web site said it was 32 pounds, it was not that heavy. It does look nice in our yard and is a great fire pit for the money. I also love the new service Wal-Mart has, that I can shop on line and pick up at the store with no shipping. This will make Christmas so much easier. THank you
It functions ok as a fire pit. The grate is widely spaced, so small pieces of wood fall through. Also, it will rust if it gets wet, so a pit cover is needed when it is not in use. Unfortunately, they are not easy to come by. We plan to use this more in the fall and winter.
