I was digging in the yard and got into an ant hill. Fortunately they were not fire ants, but I got bitten nonetheless. I dabbed a little of this green miracle on my bites and within several minutes my bites were soothed and itch-free. I also use it for minor cuts and torn cuticles. This is the best—while healing isn't instantaneous, I know my skin is being healed naturally.
Ok, maybe a slight overstatement, but this stuff works, and I proved it. I bruise easily so I use this a lot. My husband was giving me a hard time about it, so I put the product to the test. I had a large flat bruise from a bike pedal across the back of my calf. So I applied Res-Q to one side of the bruise, and lotion to the other. You could visibly see the Res-Q side healing faster; after 1.5 weeks, the Res-Q side was two or three shades lighter, and significantly less sensitive. My husband admitted his error, and I started using it on the whole bruise. Recently I found another great use. I had burned my finger very badly in the kitchen and all I had access to was my Res-Q. I wasn't sure if it was specifically for burns, but I tried it. A tin has now moved into my kitchen.... best burn ointment ever. IMMEDIATE PAIN RELIEF. One coat right then, another after I did the dishes and then one the next morning. It dissipated the blister, and it's already well on the way to healing with no skin loss or open would. Amazing!!! I also use this product on my dogs when they get injured. I haven't tried the cats yet, as they don't appreciate my ministrations, but I love this product on my dogs nicks and boo-boo's. It seems to give them relief and if they lick it off later, I'm not worried about them getting sick. I have only use this in small quantities on my dogs, mostly on their ears. I absolutely love the stuff. I recently found an old can of it which I haven't seen in a couple of years. I opened it up, and the smell brought back amazing past memories I use this on my psoriasis and it really helps a lot. thank you so much for being around.
This is not only one of the best products that Burt's Bees puts out, but it's one of the best products on the market. I started using this several years ago when I was a camp counselor and to this day I always have one in my backpack and one in my medicine cabinet. I love that it's safe to use for kids and that it's so multi-purpose. I use this for normal cuts and scrapes, I use to soothe my hands after climbing, I use it to take the bite out of wind-burnt cheeks, I even use it on really chapped lips. It's safe to use on all parts of my body, it doesn't stain fabric, it isn't goopy or sticky, and it has a light herbal scent that is fresh and clean. I don't know how it works, but it does! You can apply this to any cut, scratch, scrape, burn, or bruise and it goes right to work. I had a 2nd degree burn that completely healed in less than 6 days, blisters were gone in 24 hours. It is truly amazing! We use it on any type of "boo-boo" you can get. I recommend it to everyone.
I have one in my purse, the bathroom, my desk at work, and my car. I used this on my face once because I was on a trip and forgot my face cream. I swear it made wrinkles and fine lines disappear overnight, and it calms my sensitive skin like nothing else can. It also seems to repel mosquitoes but with a pleasant scent. I just wish it came in a bigger tin.
We are using this for my girls who are allergic to mosquito bites. A little on each bite helps soothe the irritation.
I got stung by several bees right through my shirt as I was dead-heading the roses. After trying other items, remembered Burt's Bees Outdoor Skin Survival kit. Doctor Burt's Res-Q Ointment was wonderful with helping to heal the five stings. So I purchased another to keep on hand. At 81 years old you never know when I will need it again. I highly recommend this sellers very fast service.
I received the product but the tin wash completely smashed and the salve was melted everywhere. I threw it out and was never refunded because I couldn't return the melted salve in an obviously smashed tin.
Aw man, what happened to the clean ingredients? Soy and Corn in there now...I'm done with this product......pic of my old tin ingredients....surprised you didn't add chlorine...
