My 4 week old son has been quite fussy since birth. He recently has become gassy. He has been staying awake for longer periods of time, and when he is awake, it's a constant struggle to keep him happy. I'm always holding him, trying to feed him, sing to him, bounce him, try a pacifier, try a warm bath or a warm shower with me. I'd put him in his swing, rocker or bouncer where he would only be happy for maybe 5 minutes before fussing and then crying. It has gotten so bad this past week my two sisters actually asked if he's sick. (Which he isnt) when he is awake, it's awful. My arms get tired of trying so hard to hold him in a position that keep him happy. (Switching holding positions every 2/3 minutes) I finally looked online as to why he is acting like this. Everything said colic and I found this product and after reading reviews from other parents I went to the store and bought it. I bought this and gave it to him at 7pm. Within a half hour, he was awake, laying on my bed, just staring around the room. This never happened before! He was calm. He wasn't getting upset. He must have laid there for 30 minutes before starting to fuss. I picked him up and held him and he just laid in my arms for another 15 minutes content and quiet before falling asleep. My husband and I were in such shock we actually wondered if he was okay because of how calm he was. It's now 3am and he's fast asleep after his feeding. Which went amazingly smooth! Normally he swallows alot of air with his bottle, it's like his tongue would slip off the nipple and he would fill his belly with air, which resulted in lots of burping sessions between tiny feedings. Feedings took forever! He has stopped this weird sucking thing he did. He ate, I burped him once between halfway through feeding and once more after feeding. He then went right back to sleep with no issues. It's only been a few hours but I swear my baby is acting differently. I'll be sure to post another review on how he seems in a few days but by golly is this mom completely happy with the product so far! The bottle design is horrible though, it's a real pain getting the liquid out but it's worth the trouble to have my baby be happy and content. This is my 4th child and the first one to ever act like this, to the point of needing to try this stuff. Thank you Gerber for such a great product! Now this momma is getting some sleep :)
My son had colic and the pediatrician recommended these drops. Within a few days of giving them to him he was no longer having any issues with colic! Highly recommend!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It helps the baby to go everyday to the bathroom, specially now that he's drinking formula.
I bought this for my grand-daughter that has issues with spitting up after she ate. We had put the drops right in her bottle, and the spitting up was getting less and less- it really worked gret for us!
Amazing product I highly recommend this to babies with colic it has worked wonders for us..I agree it's slightly difficult to administer the drops but definitely manageable and worth it
My husband and I bought these drops in hopes to help our sons gas and colic relief and they definitely seem to help! We noticed a big difference in his temperament and comfort level. His crying and fussines during the day seemed to decrease drastically after giving him these drops for a week or so. HOWEVER, The package advertises a 25 day supply but after administering five drops per day we yield maybe two weeks IF THAT. Secondly, the design is not great often times a few drops are wasted in the process of dispensing the probiotic. For the high price of the product it would be nice to rely on it lasting a full 25 day span. Unfortunately, we will continue paying for it because for us it's worth it to ease our sons discomfort but it is quite disappointing .
Our pediatrician suggested a probiotic to help with our baby's colic and I had a few moms recommend this one. We really like it and it has helped. Though, towards the end it starts to get goopy and solidify so theres unused product and I feel its a little expensive for the amount you get.. but it works! Anything to help the colic.

I purchased this product due to my infant becoming excessively gassy and fussy, and combined it with a formula change. Although I'm not convinced that this product works, having her on a probiotic with a weak digestive system seemed like a good idea and the pediatrician agreed. The bottle is the worst design imaginable. For the cost, you do NOT get the 25 doses as the packaging states, assume only 1/2-3/4 of that. For the cost, try something less expensive to start. Would like to keep her on this product, but for the price as well as the dosage, it would be too expensive. Very disappointing.
I dont know what is wrong with the Gerber probiotics but they rip my babys stomach apart. We were using the soothe formula, which has probiotics in it, and it gave our son intense gas pains all day, everyday. He was screaming all day from it. We switched off that and he improved. I thought Id try these probiotics to add in the the new formula. The day I did, he again is shrieking in pain from gas pains and is inconsolable. This product is AWFUL and is hurting my baby
