I was leary about buying this groomer set because i have tried many before but i was pleasently suprised. It worked fantastic. The hair came off with ease and i would recommend this product to anyone who needs a home care grooming system.
Oster makes the better pet clipper. It peforms quietly which helps keep your pet remian clam during the process. The clipper is made well and stands up to frequent use. It performs better than Wahl and is better constructed.
It is okay as a clipper but for what I needed it for, grooming my dog, it fell short. The attachments would not allow any clipping, all I could use was the naked blade and so I returned it.
Clipper got too hot to handle after about 15 minutes of use. Poor clipping ability. I would not recommend these clippers for dogs as they just don't do the job.
Bought this set also, will say that all the frills are included but the clippers are lousy. Have a terrier and they would not work. Took back same day I bought them.
The Blade worked for 2 cuts and then went dull. I called the oster company to find out where and how I can get replacement blades, they said they didn't make the replacement blades anymore. That I had to send it in to be sharpened... NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Not only that but the clipper gets really hot when using.... I wasted my time and money...
This may say "for dogs" but comes with all the attachments for human hair cuts- ear clip ons for right and left ear to name a few- same as my human hair cut kit EXACTLY. This is not meant for animals, and does not possess the power for animals. Broke before I finished my first groom.
The clippers simply did not cut! The unit also heated up after only a few minutes of use. I guess you get what you pay for!
It simply does not work. Yes, you can demonstrate that this clipper CAN cut hair, but when you try to actually USE it you'll find it non-usable. It immediately gets stuck with the hair in the blade. So, it's like a toy, not a real clipper. I tried to use it on my cocker spaniel. Spent about 40 minutes, but couldn't do more than the ears and some of the neck area. And since it is taking so long the clipper gets REALLY HOT, so I couldn't hold it in hand. I am returning the product.
We have a Chow that needs to be cut down every year to help control both fleas and heat problems....it is cheaper to clip her ourself (if a parlor could even be found to do so) and 'light duty' clippers are something we stay far away from with the type of coat she has....NOWHERE on the product information does it say ANYTHING about 'light duty' or it would not have been purchased, only upon receiving shipment was this discovered.....TOTAL waste of money and time!
