Shed is great, it arrived within 2 weeks of purchase, assembled in 1 hour by myself (no tools required) and is everything i expected it to be! Very flexible in terms of adding a custom shelf if you are a bit handy!
When I picked it up at my local WM, the entire back of the box was crushed open. They should have taped it up before bringing it out.Instead, I took pictures and then had a WM employee tape it up. That being said, it was all snap together and a piece of cake to assemble. It is a bit flimsy so I had my guys build a wood floor and brace it to the wall I had it installed next to. I also had to attach it to the pallet I bought for it. So the put together was 40 minutes, but the rest was 4 hours and required wood, carpenters, saws, long bolts, screws, and 2 different trips to Home Depot. It does have its own floor, but as a stand alone, I wouldn't reccommend it. Brace it up and it's great. There is NO way I could have done it alone. Weighs 135 lbs. I hired 2 pros.
Simple to assemble. Read instructions carefully. Requires 2 people to install doors and top.
Wallmart's ship to store was great because it saved us a large shipping charge. The folks at the store were very nice about helping us get this LARGE box into our SUV. The garden shed was simple to put together. DO read through all instructions and lay out the pieces before getting started. You will need 15 ft. or so of overhead space to install the roof. I thoutht the shed was somewhat pricy for what is basically snap together plastic; however, it looks nice and the Wallmart price was the best I found. We placed our shed on the concrete carport (under our beach home that is on pilings) and so it will be protected from the elements to some degree. We bolted the shed to the wood cross beams behind it for wind protection. We installed shelves in the back and it holds quite a lot, pots, potting soil, garden tools, rakes, etc. I am pleased with the purchase and it suits our purposes very well.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. If you want to install your own shelves, it will be very difficult to do. I ended up just using a pre made plastic shelving unit. (it really isn't designed for shelved to be attached inside).
It is exactly what it said it would be. Easy to assemble and very sturdy.
I live in a t/home complex and finally i found the right size shed where I can place the 2 large size garbage carts most of them werent "deep" enough 32 " ,finally i got on line and i found this one . It was easy enought for me alone,to put it together" 45 min. I placed a couple pieces wrongly but I recomend to be pacient and careful when removing them, therefore pay attention to the instruction to which pieces go first . But it was fun and no tools required. If it is move, push from the bottom and remove contents do not slide it in rough terrain or probably you will damage it. It looks good does the job BUT! For plastic and not be as study as other brands is very expensive….$400….. I will recomend it if was a bit cheaper. I must say that it was nice that included free shipping to my door .
We needed waterproof storage on our balcony. This shed has worked well. However, when we move, the plastic pieces (that slip over one another and lock in place w/o any screws, bolts, etc.) will likely crack. During installation on of the pieces split, but the strength of the rest of the structure holds it all together. We suspect that when we try to disassemble it the other joints will also crack/split. $500 also seems quite expensive for what it is. We're sure Suncast is printing money by molding this plastic!! Unfortunately, for its size and the dimensions of our balcony, this was our only option. But like we said, it'll serve our purposes well while it's up and together.
The roof has to be pushed up for the door to open. We thought it was not on a level spot but tried it on the driveway and had the same problem. Very overpriced.
