This is a great infant carrier. Easy to get a baby in and out of it. Really comfortable straps. I would highly recommend this product.
I purchased the cheaper Snugli 1st, tried it, but it didn't have a waist belt, so my back got sore. My twins are only 3 mon old, but heavy enough and growing, so I returned it & bought 2 of these Snugli's, one for me and a black one for Dad. :) They provide GREAT back support and it has a secret pocket in the front for nick-nacks & cell phone pouch (but we choose to visit with each other as we walk, not on the phone). I love the shoulder pads and the between-the-shoulders clasp too, it's much more comfortable than the less expensive Snugli. You can wear it on both the front and back of an adult and your baby can face you or...the world, your choice. :) I recommend this Snugli to anyone wanting to keep your baby close & safe (baby loves to hear your heartbeat & look up at you as you walk). Happy hiking/walking! :)
I really like this carrier, my daughter is bigger than the average 6 month old, and seems to be comfortable for her. I haven't tried it on my back yet, but she enjoys the facing front position. I had a smaller carrier and also a sling, but she just seemed too big and didn't look comfortable.
My daughter is 18 months old and fits inside it with ease. It has solid locking clasps and great construction. Fits on her mother and me...her mother is 100 pound lady while I am a 200 pound man. This carrier goes on the back or the front, very versatile and easy to use. Great Buy!
This carrier is way better than it's slightly less expensive Snigli carrier by evenflo. The low back belt makes all the difference. And you can't beat the versatility. My child fits into it easily face forward at 10 pounds. Another point is that it fits plus size women. I am a size 20, and the low back belt still has about 5 inches of length when I pull it tight to fit.
Carrier was a little difficult to figure out on the first try. However, I was trying it out on a 20lb. 1 yr old, and I think that is what made it difficult. Had I tried it on a younger baby to start out I don't think I would have had the trouble. I mainly bought this carrier because my daughter is pictured on the box, but still plan on using it this summer. The cushions on the shoulder straps are nice. I have another brand carrier that I used with my daughter when she was 3-8 mos old, this Evenflo one is much nicer and easier to wear (once you have mastered it)
The Backpack was very difficult to get on with help from another person, so when I was alone shopping with my two boys, it was only harder! I have a 9 month old boy that weighs 18 pounds and I could hardley get him snapped in to the carrier. I can not stress enough how hard the carrier is to put on yourself. Newborn to 5 months old would be a great age range, but who wants to put there newborn in a carrier on their back? FYI : it took 6 weeks for this carrier to be shipped to my house!
