I love this swing. I have a fussy 7 week old. Nothing soothes her (singing, bouncer, car ride, toys, etc.). When she is in the swing, she is calm and will fall asleep after awhile. It really does give the comfort of being held and hugged. I do think it could be or appear a little more durable. I haven't had a problem, but it could appear just a bit more long lasting. I love all of the features. It is well worth the money.
This swing was a sinch to put together. Belly and all it took me about 15-20 minutes. It has lots of features for your babies enjoyment. Looks sturdy, and I like the fact you can collapse the swing so you can take it into different rooms with ease. The material is great for either gender and looks that it will withstand many uses. I would recommend this item to a friend with no worries.
i have tried about 5 different swings, and now am buying it again- one to have at home, and one for work. no other swing has gone as fast(even the really expensive ones) this is a great buy, just confusing to put together, and i have put together a lot of baby things(like im sure all of you have)
We bought the swing because it matched our pack-n-play and because of it's functions. We love the swing and so does our baby girl. We can choose what she listens to (nature or lullubies) and we can increase or decrease the audio volume and speed of the swing. The five point harness seems very secure, even though we only use the the 3 point harness most of the time. It is nice that it is versitile. It is very easy to get her out of the swing, as well. I am very pleased that we purchased this model.
I love the colors on this piece I just found it kinda hard to get put together and it doesn't fold real small for storage. I don't have a lot of room we have a small 2 bedroom apt for now and have an older stepson with a lot of stuff so we stack a lot of things in rubbermaid tubs and pack corners. but I think we will use it a lot.
So far, my son is only 2 weeks old, and he doesn't really wanna be in it, yet, but his cousin was in our swing once, who is 2 months old, and she liked it and fell asleep in it after about 15 mins. I think that this is good to buy, especially since babies can be in it until they are 30 pounds, but it's too big for newborns. I'm hoping my son will like it within a few weeks or so.
We bought this swing b/c my 2 1/2-month-old daughter loves her swing at daycare. I love it's adjustable seat and the multi-volume music/nature sounds. The mobile spins by itself and doesn't need separate batteries. I wish, though, that the mobile hung a little lower so that she could bat at it. The neutral colors are great for either girl or boy. It's a bit bulky, so you'll need a good space for it to sit. My only gripe is that the toys that attach to the tray don't come with it. For the price, they should have thrown in at least one toy.
My baby was just born but I'm sure she will love her new swing when she gets a little older. It was pretty easy to set up and easy to use. She fits in it perfectly and it reclines so I don't have to worry about her head falling forward. So far I'm happy with the product.
The baby loves the swing which is really all that matters. The one thing I am not wild about is the tray. There is no point to use it for a newborn and it makes it cumbersome to get the baby in and out of the swing. It would be better if there was an easy way to remove the tray for the time being.
WOULD HAVE BEEN A FINE PRODUCT, BUT ASSEMBLY WAS ATROCIOUS.DIRECTIONS WERE NOT VERY CLEAR AND EVENTUALLY PLACED FRONT LEFT LEG BACKWARDS, THAT COULD NOT BE REMOVED TO READJUST. HAD TO RETURN ENTIRE PRODUCT, TWO DAYS LATER. RECEIVED REFUND FRM WALMART AND REORDERED ONLINE, 12/26/08. HAVE NOT RECEIVED NEW ORDER AS OF 1/06/09.
