I love this gazebo. Very easy assembly, affordable and looks wonderful in the backyard. Gazebo is large so make sure you measure the space you want to put it.
I was very well pleased with this item. I didn't think it would be as nice for the good price, but it was, and more. loved the light brown color or taupe. Will have to nail it into the deck as it does appear that when pretty good wind going, it looks like it will move a little. Just love this gazebo. Well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!
Great so far. Easy to put up. Had a few very very windy days and it was no problem. Looks beautiful and seems well made for the price. We love it so far.
I am giving 4 stars due to price of $163 + tax. For that price I have no major complaints of the product. The gazebo is easy to assemble and it looks good. There are few things a prospective buyer should be aware of: There are two grommet holes (total of 8) near the bottom of each side of the canopy. The purpose of these holes came apparent when it rained heavily. The canopy is not very tight due to design (2 canopy structure) and not enough velcro straps. During moderate to heavy rain, water accumulates at the lower part of the fabric by the horizontal supports. When the water level rises high enough, water pours down through the grommet holes. This makes the effective size of the gazebo during moderate rain as 9' x 11'. Also, after the rain, it may be necessary to push the accumulated water off the canopy. Otherwise, the fabric might stretch further. It should be noted that canopy is water resistant and can be used during rain. One person complained of poor support materials used. My gazebo is placed on my wood deck and is screwed to the deck and also on one side to the railing. There has been few serious storms this summer with very strong gusty winds and my gazebo has withstood well all the storms so far.
took about 3 hours , 2 adults, really had too streatch canopy on frame. but once togeather it is big and provides shade and even rain protection from drizzle and light rain.
Like WhitbyFamily said, it's easy to assemble. I did it myself in ~4 hours, stopping twice for ~15 minutes to bring my daughter inside, (my "helper" enjoyed playing with the huge box) out of the sun. The only thing I don't like is that the mosquito net, (I think it's ~$60, sold separately) comes with hanging rings that are flimsy. I bought shower curtain rings from the dollar store and they're much better.
I ordered this gazebo as a replacement for one we had on our patio previously. The former was a 10' x 10' I purchased from Big Lots last spring. For the money paid on that one it felt cheaply made. The summer sun bleached the tarp and during a storm the material ripped. So, I found this one online and ordered it to replace the previous. It arrived in a week and I assembled it. Right out of the box the material felt pretty decent. Some pieces were bent, but I used my tools to correct the issues. Once assembled this gazebo has a nice size for my patio. Yes, it isn't a permanent structure, but it is nice to have and keeps the sun off of the sliding patio doors. The only issues I had so far are 1) the bent pieces and 2) one of the bars connecting the corners came apart from the weld. I have attempted to "fix" this with some JB Weld...we'll see how this holds up.
I have had many of these types of inexpensive gazebos before. I learned that the roof will pool water because none of them are made with enough grommets. before i even put the roof on, i go to the fabric store and buy a package of grommets, the type used for making holes in the tops of curtains. They are easy to put on, some are just snap together types. You just cut a hole and snap the grommet over it. When it rains your fabric won't stretch or tear or pull your gazebo apart from the weight of the roof. Make sure they go along the edge of the roof line, in line with the other grommets. Worth the effort. Did mine yesterday before putting it up and it took me about 30 minutes. was done before the guys had the frame up.
Easy to put up, I did it by myself. The problem I am having with it is the parts that hold the roof up keep bending. This is my second Gazebo of this time the last one I had for 6 years until a storm destroyed it. This gazebo is made much cheaper than the last.
It is exactly the same as Sunjoy Classic Scroll Gazebo. Just changed the name into "Dante Gazebo" and raised the price. Cannot find replacement canopy which lasted 2 seasons. Bad, bad customer service, just cannot reach manufacturer or their representative. It is my experience, yours may be better. Ask seller if they provide replacement canopy before you buy gazebo from this company.
