This gazebo is awesome but instructions not very good. Can use betterr instructions. One of the beams was damaged but able to set up anyway. Must have at least 4 people to set up. I suggest bolting it which was better for me. Also make sure shipping is not charged. I was charged and supposed to be free. I will be asking for a refund on shipping . I just got it this weekend. I love it.
great gazebo up in four hours 2-4 people working on it mostly 2 but it took 4 of us to carry it and put it over the hot tub when put up direction arent the best but youll get though it ok andchors well to the ground wind doest even seem to bother it the hangers for the netting and the curtains to close it up are very cheap made but they seem to be holding up ok once you get it set up thier is nothing to buy unless you want to hang a light in the top witch has a hook and everything already their we use the light form the hot tub and that is suffilcient we have gone the cheap route and regreted it dont do it buy this one be done with it be happy with it and enjoy it we live in oregon lots of rain and wind neither seem to bother it have a great day
We first purchased this gazebo in a larger size. Loved it, but found it didn't fit our area the right way so returned it. We were excited to find the same one in a smaller size and ordered it. When it came, it was missing the beam connectors. Four 1"x2" pieces. I called walmart.com's 800 number (800-966-6546) and told them the issue. They are unable to get just the parts we were missing, so my only option is to have an entire NEW, 127 lb. box delivered to me, remove the parts, call walmart.com back for a return shipping label and have the box minus the small parts picked back up for return. Our Fedex guy is a friend, but I have a feeling after lifting this thing another two times, we might not be on speaking terms any longer. Mainstays does an excellent job protecting all the pieces in shipping by wrapping each one in its own plastic. The bolts are very easy to use and as long as you have good eyes, the directions are fairly easy to understand.
We purchased the Healdslburg design which must have been this one's predecessor in May 2013. Although it took my husband and I 9 hours to put up, we loved it. However, we learned on our deck that we had to continually tighten the screws. We had purchased deck screws to secure it to the deck. Well, we got to enjoy it for just a month (31 days). One day of wind, and it was done for. It was bent in every way possible. The depressing thing about it was that we had spent over $400 for it and that it took us 9 hours to put up. Then, the 6 month warranty of it does not include any weather damage. So, needless to say, after just one month we were $400 down with no gazebo to show for it.
Very nice looking gazebo but cheaply made material for price. The instructions were louzy, frame dented easily and when it was almost together the very top piece broke because it was very thin metal to hold up the top. Had to order new parts from the manufacturer, which takes 10 days to receive or you can pay to express ship. Just expected a much better product for the total of $420. We could have returned the product, however, it was almost together and took us a while to get it together and we had a family event that we needed the gazebo for.
