Purchased for use on our lanai. It's well made. Instructions were easily understood and shade was easy to hang with supplied template. Wife is very happy with purchase.
Ordered standard delivery Friday night. Delivered Wednesday. Easy setup. Solid piece. Well packaged. Overall great purchase. Offers shade with the ability to see through so no site obstruction.
Shade material is high quality. Mechanics are good. Does what I was looking for (keeps sun off wood door to minimize maintenance).
We have had this 10x8 shade up for over 2 months now. We have it mounted on the outside of a large window on our covered deck. It looks better than I hoped and functions perfectly. I didn't want to block our view but needed something for the sun on occasion. I did a lot of online searching for a large shade and this one was perfectly sized, and priced great. My husband was so impressed with it and was shocked when I told him the price. We couldn't be happier with the quality, functionality, color, size, and price.
Caveat: the shade has only been up for a day so I can't speak to longevity. We didn't want a shade on the inside of a row of 3 windows which created significant glare on the TV. This 10 ft shade covered all 3 windows and worked wonderfully. Cuts glare, but I can still see out to the garden. The shade was supposed to come w/ a template for lining up brackets - ours didn't but we were able to attach the brackets with relative ease. Took a little bit to figure out how we should do it - and it certainly takes two with a 10 ft long assembly. So while it wasn't difficult, it took some time to be sure we were not making a mistake. It appears to be sturdy and I like that we can easily remove it for whatever reason.
Does anyone know if the included brackets can be used to mount on brick?
It was a great purchase, the deck can now be enjoyed more since it blocks the sun from shining on you! It is easy to roll up and down and was put up in a snap!
Easy to install, had them up in less than 30 minutes. The shades are very well made.
I'm very impressed with my new solar shade. My neighour installed it yesterday & had no issues in doing the install by himself. I immediately had relief from the hot Arizona sun that beats onto my patio in the afternoon. What a difference. The only small issue is that the bungee tie downs are not quite long enough. My opening is 13.5 ft & the 10 ft shade is the only option for buying something that isn't customized. The option to purchase longer bungees would be ideal..
