We did get this a few weeks ago. Originally we ordered the triangular sail but it did not provide enough shade. We ordered the 12' rectangular sail and it is perfect! Great invention, much better than cranking an umbrella up and down daily. It makes the space feel cozier, like a separate space. wish the product came in a 14' size. There only seemed to be a choice of 12' or 16' . The in between size should be available to fit everyone's patio needs. Excellent quality, reinforced corners and very durable compared to other models at local stores.
We bought this shade sail to cover our 12'x12' pergola and it worked perfectly! Provides the right amount of shade and was easy to install with the adjustable hardware.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has only been up a few weeks. But so far so good.
This is a great product and value. Comes with a good assortment of hardware. These were bought to replace and add to existing area . One of the originals wore thru the fabric (after 3 years) due to contact with hardware from rubbing. Be sure you have a plan layer out before you buy
I put the 12'x12' sail up on mounts that were about 16'x16'. I used heavy duty bungie straps, instead of the mounting hardware that came with the sail, to see how it would look. Turns out the bungie straps worked real well and pulled the sail real tight. I think I may leave it that way. I am really very happy with this product.
Excellent product. I live in Orlando, Florida. I originally purchased this sail 2 years ago to help cut down the heat. Our back yard has a lot of pavement and the summmer heat is to much for the plants and us. I now own a total of 5 sails in different colors. they hold up well. You can't go wrong. Thanks shelter logic!
It's durable material the hardware is good quality. It is just the right size. The colour I wanted (a sandy colour) wasn't in stock I paid an extra little bit to have it delivered by certain date and it was delivered a day later than originally specified so I wasn't able to get it up in time for a party
Very good quality
I bought this to cover over a 10x10 gazebo. High winds had taken the top portion off but the metal sides were intact. I bought a 12x12 sun sail thinking I would have some extra material to bring over the sides of the gazebo. Nope. It is approximately 2" too short all around. It works as stated - easy up and down, if needed - good shade and very flexible. Not a nylon type material as it looks. Rather, it is a stretchy, plastic woven material. Overall, it does what it is supposed to. Just make sure to buy 2 sizes larger than you think you need!
The sun shade sail is well made. Material is high quality. The connections and hardware are good. Installation is fairly easy and straightforward. The main complained that I face is we get a lot of rain in Maine. The sail doesn't allow the rain water to pass through the material quickly enough so the added weight of the water stretches the material or the ropes that attach it to the post. So I need to keep to retighten them periodically.
