I bought this ring for my son who is graduating from high school. I really didn't want to spend the $350 that the his highschool was charging for the rings since I know that that it won't be worn for long especially when he gets his college ring. I got the ring for $59 on sale. I love the ring! The finish is really nice. The graphics on either side are nice and crisp. The text around the stone is also very nice. I was careful not to put in too many characters though. The ring was delivered in less time than I anticipated. (probably 3 weeks). My son loves it and has already worn it to school and many of his classmates will be ordering this ring from Walmart. He has not worn it for long but he is in sports and the ring has gotten a bit of a beating and it still looks nice.
I had a similar issue with another ring. I spoke with Walmart customer service. After speaking with the manufacturer I was told the Silver color rings would now be Platinum plated. Which, I was told, is thicker and will wear better. But over time, unless the item is precious metal, and not coated, all plating will wear off eventually depending upon the wear and tear. But great price!
The underside of the ring is hollow. Not only does this make the stone more vulnerable to come lose, but it makes the sizing of the ring off especially on the larger size ring. We are trying to find a way to fill the big gaping whole with something so that our son can wear the ring without it flopping around on his finger. I would have paid a little extra money to have a ring that was actually comfortable to wear.
I jumped at the price to buy this for my son. I wish I would've spent more and ordered quality. I had no idea they would make a ring like this. I feel it's strongly miss represented in this ad! Quality is equivalent to what you find and a cracker jack box.
Ordered my sons ring from Walmart & was VERY upset about what we received!!! Please DON'T GET ONE FROM WALMART!! . Paid over $270 . 00 & went to pick it up today. The ring was very light like aluminum. I don't think it was The Silver Plus we ordered !!!! I could not read his name or football jersey#. Paid extra for his name inside. Name & jersey number Was just scratched on the ring ( like you would scratch it with a safety pin) . Ordered school colors on one side & they wer not there just put a badge with a torch on it NO COLORS!! It had a sticker from Thailand on it. Piece of Junk !! So very disappointed!!!! Cheap ! Cheap!! Got money back!! Please DON'T upset yourself or your child by making them wait for this bubble gum machine piece of Garbage!! Will go to the place school ordered class rings from
We were excited to find a great price on a class ring at first, but after about a month wearing it the ring is loosing color and the stone is loose, my son's finger gets a dark green stain...IT SUCKS , don't waste your time or money
Bought this ring for my son . He started wearing it as soon as he got it . After 2 days his finger was green around were the band rubbed on his finger . After I inspected the ring I noticed that they spelled his school wrong and there was bronze color showing on bottom of ring . We brought home on 3-27-17 , returning on 3-31-17 . Not good quality at all .
As a Senior, you look forward to lots of things including ones High school Class Ring. You wait and wait for it to come and put it on and so proud of it! NOT THIS ONE...my first reaction when I opened it up was"this doesnt look to be that great, looks sorta cheap" But I figured, ok we'll see....well, it turned my sons finger green after only wearing it one week!! Very disappointed. Its hollow underneath at the top where the stone is. Very poor quality! Do not buy here. The side color (black) looks painted on. My son goes to a Trade School so it was more difficult to find somewhere that would make the ring with his schools name. If I had ANY idea this ring was so cheap, I wouldve keep on searching! Getting my money back. What a waste of time, energy and money! Upset parents and an Upset High School Senior!
I bought this ring and had it personalized for my husband's college. He had lost his original class ring. When I gave this one to him he was so excited. He loved it. THEN, after 3 weeks of wearing it, the CELEBRIUM started wearing off and showing the brass underneath. We are so disappointed. I'm returning it tomorrow...
I highly DO NOT recommend this ring to any Jr. - Sr. I purchased this past Easter for a surprise gift for my soon-to-be-graduate. The quality of this ring should be the same grade as one will get in one of them Candy/Toy machines where you insert 50 cents in! The silver finish has almost completely rubbed off, the engraved words that were on the inside band of ring has been almost rubbed off. Now I have to come up with more money I do not have so I can get him a better quality ring!
