Great value, seems good quality. Bought this for my daughter. She is at a new school and doesn't know if she is staying until graduation, but wanted a ring so this fit the bill. We received it 3 weeks before it was estimated to arrive. All of the engraving and the inscriptions were correct, the ring seems to be good quality, and it fit her finger (we went and had her finger sized at Walmart to make sure). Overall for the price of this ring compared to the "big name" class rings sold at school, this is a great value!!
I had a similar issue. I communicated with WM customer service. They spoke with the manufacturer. I was told this ring will now be Platinum plated. Which, I was told, is thicker than the current plating and will wear much better. I reordered this ring and love the new one!
I only gave one star because zero wasn't an option. I bought this ring for my daughter and the plating is completely off and it turns her finger green. It looks like a gumball machine ring. I've tried to return it several times at my local Walmart and they refused. Now my daughter will graduate without a class ring. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
I was very disappointed when I have only been wearing my ring for less than a two weeks and my finger is turning green! Even with the supposed better quality it has not held up.
We let our daughter pick the ring of her choice and she picked this one. It took about a month and a half to arrive, which is OK since they had to make the inscriptions, etc. After we received the ring, within about three days the ring started to turn her finger green and the color of the ring started to rub off. We had an inscription on the inside that also began to fade right away. I would not recommend this ring. I am returning it. I guess you get what you pay for when you pay a lower price.
My daughter has only had the ring a few weeks. It has turned her finger green, Platinum plating is already chipping and coming off. Jewel is not clean its fogged over. compares great to a gumball machine ring :(
I wore it for 2 days and it TURNED MY FINGER GREEN. I paid $60 for this ring and it should NOT turn my finger green, I will contacting customer support and returning the ring sadly. I love the ring itself but I can wear a ring that turns my finger green. And the inscription wore off almost immediately.
