We loved how great and sturdy the hot tub was. Package was good and strong
So far this hottub is exactly what we were looking for! Easy setup, easy to operate, and easy to take down and nove to a different location. Time will tell how everything holds up but for now we are enjoying our new spa.
The set up was fairly straight forward and the hot tub is very spacious. Thank goodness because the manual was not very helpful. maintenance should be more straightforward as not everyone knows how to operate or maintain a hot tub.
My husband and I like the size and the quality of the hot tub. The exterior tub dimensions are 66". I used pool salt and ran the sanitation cycle 8 hrs the 1st time.Chlorine level came up pretty high then dropped in a day. I run the sanitation again for 3-5 hrs to get chlorine back up. Its perfect for two adults. maybe three adults or two adults and two very small children. My son set it up for me and he didn't seem to struggle too much except he did complain the directions were a little confusing in some areas. The cover is a little weird. it goes all the way down to the bottom and there's a foam insulating layer in the top portion that seems to have folded over and bunched up on itself so I don't know if I can fix that or what happened to it. I had the water in it and ready to go within 18 hrs or so. Its very hot out now so we haven't run the heat much and its 92 degrees We've used it every night and love it.
The picture shows people seated and enjoying the tub. Problem is, there are no seats to sit on! I am 5'3 and 67 years old and you want me to sit on the ground and drown! Why would anyone want a hottub without a seat! Also, the instructions are non existent. Just pictures! Looks nice but not sure it is worth the money!
The hot tub doesn’t even hold air! It burns your fingers while trying to put air in it and smells like rubber burning!! It’s so hard to hook the hot tub to the tubes! There are white scratches all on the inside! Worst purchase! Very dissatisfied
Not sure I can understand the instructions fully. It doesn't explain much about the filter %26 does not plug in entirely.,There is a part that you're supposed to tighten that you cannot on the filter. I've used the hot tub a couple of times to see if it will stay inflated without using the jets or bubbles/ yet it says don't overinflate. It will not heat up in time and it doesn't give instructions on how to charge it., whether to keep the charger inside or outside, just the major details to run the tub. No instructions for the cover that doesn't involve inflating. I had to look everything up on videos on YouTube.
This spa is TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY! We bought this a few months ago, constantly throws codes that disable use. Currently I have a code 91 which means low salt, according to the tests, salt levels are fine. I contacted Intex and because I bought it online, they are rejecting my claim. I even had a representative from Walmart verify my purchase on a 3 way call with Intex and it wasn't good enough. We wanted a “plug and play” spa, not a spa that controls everything from a grain of salt! Intex customer service is as bad as their product, again, DO NOT BUY! We are out $800 on a “dead horse”
We purchased this hot tub in January. It has been used very few times. We noticed a do you weeks ago that the water level started dropping. I searched the outside and could not find any leaks. Upon draining it just now I realized the drain area has came apart.. this is not something that was done by us. It is poor design. I attempted to contact the seller but of course my return window ran out a few weeks ago.
