A great high quality portable hot tub. We use ours year round for both relaxation and therapeutic benefits. The deep 29 in water level allows you to completely submerge neck and shoulders, powerful Jets and the water heats quickly. Fast and easy to assemble. I was also impressed with the insulated cover that it comes with. Just a side note...We have had our spa for several years with no issues at all and regular use, recently we caused damage to the liner. The Canadian spa company sales and customer service did an outstanding job working with us to get it replaced. We were so appreciative of their efforts. Great quality product and outstanding customer service. Would highly recommend!
I bought one a few weeks ago and i love it. Best thing i ever bought. Works really well no leaks no issues at all. If i ever buy another one this would be it.
The spa is better then inflatable one on offer because it has a internal liner and only the wall inside the liner is inflated and does not touch the water. We really liked the depth as well. We bought the Grand Rapids but were upgraded to the Rio Grande free of charge by Canadian spa.
All up and working now........i cannot stress enough how level the floor or ground must be........thankyou Brian for all your patience.... You give new meaning to " customer service"unlike we have not experienced before.......we recommend this product.......m
We picked out hot tub up at our local Walmart, by using site to store. That type purchase helps support your local city and my husband is the mayor where we live. The Rio Grande is everything we hoped. It took us about an hour to set up. It was 36 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The side did not air up like the instruction book said. We were one inch low. However, after visiting the Canadian Spa site, we realized it was the outside temperature. We finished setting the tub up at 11 a.m. By 4 p.m. The next day, it had reached 104 degrees. The thermostat will go to 108. We got in at 104, with the outside temperature still in the high 30's. After an hour in the tub and running the bubbles a lot, but not continuous, the water temp was 98 when we got out. NOTE, we do have two holes in the top cover air bladder in the area of a folded crease. We patched the top and it still leaks. All else is super and I have registered my warranty and notified the company. We've had a few hard body tubs and this is the way to go.
I bought this tub a month ago, and I'm very impressed. I chose this one because Canadian Spa claimed that it worked in the winter and most others warned against it. With the chilly spring/late winter we've had, the claim has proven true! It had no trouble maintaining heat it temperatures well below zero. Set up of the tub was quite easy too. The only downfall was that the manual made no mention of the chemicals required. I bought some that were recommended by a local spa store, but later found out about Canadian Spa Company chemicals would make sure I maintained my warranty, were about the same price, and were shipped to my home quickly for free. I wish I had known that right away. The Rio Grande is the first portable spa I've tried and I know I made the right choice. It stays very warm, has powerful bubbles, and a thick durable casing that stands up to the Canadian environment. The Canadian Spa Company has been great at handling any questions I've had. They're easy to reach and always ready to help.
We bought this just over a month ago and it's great, perfect for a family of 4, no regrets buying it. We did try and use it outside but unfortunately it does not work well if your power goes out. This hot tub does not restart when the power comes back on. We arrived at our cottage at -10 degrees to a frozen hot tub, all the elements were frozen. After bringing inside and defrosting we managed to get it working again. Great for relaxing after a days skiing.
Bought this tub a few weeks ago, just delivered last Tesday....... works great except for the leak at the drain from under the tub............examined area and cannot see the problem.........both drains inside and out attached properly with caps secured tighty........ appears to be a vinyl defect..........will call Monday for a warranty solution........stay tuned for results....
Worked great for a while then started leaking by the drain valve , the same as I have seen on other reviews <<
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it does not hold the heat. As soon as you turn on the bubbles the temperature starts to go down. It started at 102 this morning and went down to 85 in less than 15 minutes. This is in the house too not outside. Pretty sure I will be returning this. :(
