We bought this smoker about 3 weeks ago to replace another electric smoker that died after about 2 years. This smoker produces excellent smoke and has very good temperature control. Our last smoker cooked too fast because we had to have temps up high enough to get chips to smoke continuously. What surprised us was how long, using a true smoker like this unit, it took for our pork shoulders to cook. We were always surprised with the old unit when our meats were done so quick, but the taste of slow cooked and smoked pulled pork was phenomenal using this smoker. It cleaned up very easily too. Great smoker, wish we had bought it years ago instead of wasting time and money on our last unit.
I got it as a special gift to my dad, he is a true man's man and he totally flipped over it. He stayed up assembling it and took the booklet with him on a planned vacation, he is very anxious to use it. He had previously researched options for smokers and he said this was the best option. A friend of mine also has the same one and the meat was amazing. It was so good, the super well behaved family dog actually jumped up and grabbed a huge piece off the counter. Very out of character for him but I understood where he was coming from. A bit pricey but my dad is well worth it. Looking forward to some good cooking.
Quality built, great heat control and rapid recovery, uses a few ounces of chips only (no pellets or chunks), extremely efficient. wet smoke/dry smoke, can do 8 full racks of ribs or 16 whole chickens at once, 8 butts you name it. all night cook now includes 8 hours of sleep.....Masterbuilt does the work! leave door hooked but not sealed during storage period to prevent moisture damage, mold. Recommend fabric cover be purchased from Masterbuilt with unit. Blue tooth is about 30' range.
I bought this last month for my son's 40th birthday. I ordered it on line and had it delivered to his home. It was so easy to set up. In just an hour we had it going so we could start smoking the next day. Went and bought some wood chips and 3 different kinds of meat. Boy did it smell good in his backyard. The meat was cooked to perfection! We all enjoyed dinner that night. It was also easy cleanup. Can't wait to try it again! Love this smoker!❤
All features work as described. After using my Masterbuilt barrel smoker and being the gadget guy I am, I had to try this upright. I received rave reviews on my food. Only possible negatives, small amount of wood chips able to load but honestly its seeming like that's all that's necessary and it's easy to reload. Also I reverse mounted the back handle so cover that I bought would fit.
This is our second Masterbuilt electric smoker. We had our first one for many years and trusted the brand. We like the size of this one and the larger interior capacity. We also like the meat probe option. I had not ordered from SAM's Club online before and was surprised to discover that they would ship directly to my house for free!! We couldn't be happier with this purchase.
We bought this Smoker about two weeks ago. Everything we have cooked in it has been delicious. I love that it has Bluetooth connect. I can keep check on the temperature and cook time by looking at my iPhone instead of going outside every time.
I purchased this smoker a few weeks ago. Finally got a chance to fire it up today. I made chicken quarters that are restaurant quality. This smoker was so easy to use. I'm happy and satisfied with this smoker.
My son loves this product . We had borrowed a gas smoker and loved it but it was a lot of work getting up at all hours of the night checking it . The electric steamer is a luxury . He cooked bacon wrapped shrimp in and they were awesome .
This smoker is a real investment!! It is easy to use...great flavor. Nothing negative to say about it......
