I've had my off set smoker for quite some time now and couldn't be happier. Easy to use and smokes well for the" low and slow" when doing briskets! If you are a seasoned smoking veteran or just getting started this is what you need.
I Love this grill for it's smoking feature. You can smoke surf or turf to a Scrumptious flavor that will quinch the thirst of any meat lover. But that is not all, you can still grill any food for that great taste of char grilled foods.
my 3 sons bought this for their dad for fathers day i believe it was 2004 or 5 and we still use it today.
My wife bought me this for Christmas. It's my first smoker and I love it! Very easy to put together and it's rock solid. I was smoking ribs, chicken and salmon in no time!
I've been a barbeque aficionado for years and recently became interested in purchasing an off set smoker. After checking off set prices at local retailers and on the Internet, it became painfully apparent that price tags were very hefty. Disheartened but not dissuaded, I continued my quest for a reasonably priced off set and I found many of them. However, consumer reviews on these less expensive off sets were mostly unfavorable. Most were downright wretched. So I Googled the term, "Best Inexpensive off set smokers" and found websites that reviewed reasonably priced smokers. This 30 inch American Gourmet smoker showed up on several of them as one of the better inexpensive off sets. Two months ago I purchased one from Char-Broil and have been very pleased with it. I have smoked beef roasts, pork roasts, tenderloins and ribs on it with very good results. If you are interested in investing in a solid off set smoker without paying the big bucks, this is the smoker for you. My five star rating takes into account the very attractive price point.
Have had this little offset smoker for almost a year now and love it. Works well out of the box.
I added another smoker I like the Char-Boil smoker.
This grill would be fine for a small family but with only 27” of true cook space it would not do the job for me Pretty sure the picture is the 40” offset might be wrong but looks much larger in the picture
I love char-broiler I needed a new one because I could not find the part I needed I have this grill for 10 years.
Its great the steel needs to be a little thicker so they last longer
