This is a superior product if you are looking for a bright light made with quality components -- 1. The external globe is glass, weather resistant, not plastic. 2. It has six LEDs; most stand-alone solar lights have 1 or 2. 3. The rechargable battery is 1500 mAh; most other lights have a 600 or 900 mAh rechargable battery. A standard rechargable NMH battery is 2300, so it can easily be replaced/upgraded when the battery dies. 4. The solar panel is amorphous (glass), not chrystaline (plastic) so it should last much longer than most solar lights 5. The stake in the ground is metal, not plastic, so it is more weather-resistant and stronger that most lights. 6. It was pre-charged out of the box. Many others were dead on arrival and so you didn't know if the rechargable battery was any good until after a day's charging. I always initially charge with stand-alone charger just to validate the quality of the battery. I have used many other solar lights and this scores 3 points above any of my previous purchases. My only complaint is that the stainless tube connecting the light to the stake could be 4"+ longer.
the three pack of lights is easy to asssemble, comes pre charged and is crazy bright. no flimsy plastic real metal glass and solid. I thought the price was wrong . Bought all they had to replace my other supposedly " brighter" lights.
I absolutely love these lights. I have had mine for a year now and they are still going strong even through snow, wind, storms they keep on shining bright! They give off a lot of light, they are easy to put together, and they make your walkway look ten times better. Can't say enough about these lights I am very glad I bought them.
I read many reviews on the Westinghouse Sterling 3 piece solar lights before purchasing and I am not dissapointed. They are bright, due to the 6 bulbs, and once you get use to the color of the LED lights, they do the job. I love the fact that I am not using electricity but rather the sun charging the lights. They have performed to my expectations and I recommend them highly.
I received these solar light for my birthday and really love their brightness. I went back to Walmart to get several more boxes only to find they are out of stock in the entire Sacrament area and online. I called Westinghouse and was told that Walmart was the only company that ordered these light this year. Maybe they will have them back again next year or maybe another store will carry them. Any way it goes, I sure hope I can purchase several more boxes because they are really fantistic.

To my pleasant surprise, when I opened the box, these lights are bigger than your average solar path way lights. As the other reviews say they were charged and ready to go. They are bright and premium quality. Made of steel and glass. I will definately purchase another set or two. Thanks again Wal-mart!
I have used many Garden Solar lights and this is the best of all, it's very bright and last all night long. Great product!
These are solid, well built lamps. The quality is better than I had expected. At approx. $8 /unit, they're on the high side for what's out there, but I suspect that they will last. Stainless steel lasts forever. I've had a set of 12 for eight years and the metal still looks new. It's the electronics that goes, and these lamps are much better constructed than the set I have.
I bought six of these lights for my mother in June. Installed them and they looked beautiful and worked well, nice and bright. But for the last couple months (we live in Upstate NY) the lights have been only flickering at night, even after a bright sunny day. Well I just called Westinghouse and they told me that when it gets below 50 degrees these lights do flicker at night (looks like a strobe light show) and this is considered normal. They will not refund my money ($60). REALLY, give me a break. If they do not work when below 50 degrees then they should not be selling this product! I will call Walmart and see if there is anything they will do but is beyond the 90 day return policy.
