I am very impressed with this solar lamp. It looks amazing when it's on....it casts a great shadow and really sets a relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely love this. The San Rafael Estate Solar Lantern is really nice and is exactly what I was looking for. I have a rustic theme out on my patio and the antique bronze color lantern goes great with the decor. It is 22" high which is pretty big. I currently have it as a centerpiece on my oversize table but eventually I will hang it up. Easy to set up. Basically take it out of the box, sit it outside for 2 days in bright sunlight. After 2 days out in the light, turn the switch from off to on and it will light up at dusk and turn off at daylight. I was looking around forever for big solar lanterns for the front of my house! I finally found them and when they arrived I was very happy with the overall product. They worked right out of the box and give off lots of light! I have had at least three different people knock on my door and ask about them- and I highly recommended them. I have since order 2 more for my back porch and another 2 for my mother! Overall I am very happy with my purchase and recommend if you are looking for an oversized solar lantern.
Just took the light out of the package and it stayed on all night. Great light, larger size and candle looks realistic.
I am extremely in love with the San Rafael solar lantern! As recommended on the instructions, I left the lantern out in direct sunlight for six hours. I left the switch on the off setting and turned it on later that day. My lantern is in direct sunlight every day, it helps to keep it bright. The lantern is bright, elegant and a good size! This is a beautiful lantern. My husband mounted it on an old lamp post and it is perfect. It matches the other 5 smaller version lanterns we have in our flower garden.
I bought two of the smaller and one of the large there will need and they make a great statement on your porch or deck
Well I just have to say these lanterns are made well they are done beautifully they even have a silver medal at the bottom so it reflects more I had bought two other land turns for my front porch and they probably lasted three Months the wood rotted the glass got broken once when it tipped over these are made so well and so sturdy and the panels with the glass make for a sturdier glass I was hesitant to buy them because the price was a little steeper than I paid before but I think it's money well spent and a large lantern is very large I believe they were a great bye

This is a beautiful piece adorning the sidewalk to my front door. Lovely lighting at night but not glaring. Just enough to light the sidewalk and surrounding area but we can still see the stars. Love the down light illuminating the ""candle"" inside. The glass is unusual in that it looks like it has raindrops and casts a glow as such. I truly enjoy this lantern.
