I would not recommend this lawn vac to anyone. The problem is, it doesn't suck. It would only pick up about a 3rd of the leaves, leaving most of them on the driveway. Instead of making the job easier, it doubles the workload. I returned it to Walmart the same day I picked it up.
This vac does not offer enough vacuum and the opening covers a large surface area, therefore it does not have enough suction to pull leaves out of the grass. It worked good on the flat ground and sucked most the leaves and all the dirt and sand, however it was hard to push on the grass and did not suck much at all. I planned on using it on the grass not the ground and I wanted to use it for a-corns, so if this is your case don't bother buy it. I took it back after my first trial.
Well I could hardly wait to try the vac out. After mowing the lawn I ran the vac over some of the grass clippings to vacuum them up. Again and again and again. I adjusted the height several times but ended up with about a quart of clipping when there were plenty for me the vacuum up. Then when I tried to empty the container the hole was too small for very much to fall out. After much shaking of the container, my arms were getting tired. I said to myself, put it back in the box and return it to the Walmart store. In my opinon, this is a piece of junk! I returned it two days after picking it up. To Walmarts credit there was no problem returning the item.
