I bought the blower vacuum with battery. Great price. Works better than any other tool of its kind that i have used. Also purchased the gutter cleaning tool. Should have gotten this item long ago. I do believe it will keep me from injury or death (not kidding). I have concrete around half of my house. These old bones would be no match. Very pleased with my purchase.
This is a great leaf blower. I have a high end backpack gas blower that works very well but is cumbersome to just pick up and use for small jobs and touch-up. I ordered the 40v for just that purpose. Turns out it really is all I use. The “big boy” just hangs in the garage now. With a spare battery the Greenworks is all Ineed.
After owning two corded leaf blower/vacuums, I absolutely love this battery version. It is easy to change from blower to vacuum or vice versa. And, it doesn't have all the hassle of using a cord. Further, the adjustable power settings are awesome. It's simply a great product that I highly recommend.
We love the leaf blower/vacuum. The variable speed control is a very nice feature. Bag is easily emptied. Able to do the whole patio and still have a lot of charge on the battery
I had a corded leaf blower/vacuum, but did not like to use. So, I did not use and it sat in my garage untouched for a few years. My wife asked me to clean the Cedar Elm leaves and seeds out of our backyard flower beds and I thought there has to be a better way than just using my blower. I have a Greenworks 60v mower and love it and went to the Greenworks website and ordered the GW 40v leaf blower/vacuum. I am so glad I did. It was easy to assemble and it rocks! I cleaned all the leaves and seeds from all the flower beds in about 20 minutes. Plus it did not remove much of the mulch that happens with my blower. Definitely a great purchase! Gives me more time to relax in my backyard.
The blower feature is very powerful, while the vacuum one works well enough for me. Really like the speed control as it's easy to maneuver while holding the tool. It's a bit heavy to me, but I hope weight correllates to motor engine. It's a brushless one by the way, so I am expecting it to last for years to come.
Powerful enough to pick up wet leaves and small sticks from a pile. It has the same power as a plugin has. Everything I expect from greenworks. Own 8 told by then, including lawn mower that I love.
I haven't tried it yet as ny winter is well wet/cold/and snowy, but it came fast and in the original box and the blower is a christ.as gift to husband so it isnt opened yet ,
The blower works alright. The problem is with the battery. When I put the power on high, the power is drained in about 30 minutes. From the other reviews I had expected the battery to last for an hour so that a reasonably sized job can be completed without recharging. I am not sure I would recommend this and related products to others due to the battery situation.
I am not happy with the charge time on the battery. I wanted to go green but the run time is too short. The first time it only lasted 20 mins. The second time a little longer. I returned a different brand because it only lasted 7 mins. It is a hassle retuning it via UPS. I was going to get a battery lawn mower but I am not so sure now.
