Trimmer and blower work well. Suggestions would be to have the remaining power lights color coded from green to red instead of all green. (Great idea to have this feature) Also need a second bracket to hold the machines. The only holder is on the charger. We have only used this once but we're very impressed with it's capabilities.
Excellent blower for smaller jobs, clearing solid surfaces, as it says. Do NOT compare this to gas or electric blowers, and this is not something you are going to clear your lawn with. This will clear glass clippings off the sidewalk, dust out the garage, etc. The battery life is not as good as it is in other Scotts' SYNC tools, but the battery charges quickly, and if you have other Scotts SYNC tools, you can interchange the batteries to have enough power to be able to accomplish more. This is a nice light weight blower for light duty jobs. Being battery powered, it is very convenient, and can go anywhere. Not very loud, and very easy to handle.
I don't know why people complain that battery life is bad. What are they blowing around the whole street ? It works well. The battery life is shorter on the blower vs the trimmer but it's long enough to clean out two driveways and a sidewalk area.
We purchased the blower and trimmer together in 2017. Both items have worked very well. We know that it is not a heavy duty blower and trimnmer but for our needs it is excellent. My wife and I both suffer from arthritis of the hands and fingers and these items are the perfect weight. I will definitely continue purchasing this same product. S20400 and S20200.
First when we bought the blower and trimmer in June they worked great and I loved how they hung on the wall. We bought them separately so they each had a charger and a place to hang. Were always ready when we did our weekly yard work. Fast forward to August (2 months after purchase) and one of the batteries will not charge so we swapped one battery between the 2 units. Now come November and leaves are falling and battery will not even stay charged long enough to blow out a 2 car garage. Replacement batteries are close to $100.00 each, I will pass! Going to a Kobalt or similar where product will be stood behind. Get better batteries and I would come back....
I got the above product and Weed eater together. One battery didn't work shortly after I got it and the second one died within a few months under casual use. The equipment seemed to work well otherwise.
Less than 2 months either battery or charger no longer works . Don't waste money on this go with a actual yard tool brand toro, black and decker , etc. The price sure didn't justify 2 months of working. Just glad I didn't also purchase trimmer like my husband wanted to.
Battery ran out of power 5 minutes after use. Had to use additional battery that didn't last 10 minutes. My electric blower worked excellent, I didn't want to be bothered with the cord. But I will now until I buy a gas one. Do not buy this product. It's not worth anything!!!!!!!
Bought the blower edger combo and batteries will not charge after a couple uses. I bought a new charger believing 2 batteries could not die at the same time but they still will not charge.
I bought this and it worked about 2 weeks, maybe. Bought a new battery after checking each piece out with my sister's blower. It will run for a few seconds than quite.
