I think the people at Snapper must have designed this leaf blower especially for me! I am a 61 year old grandmother with prior back surgeries, and carrying around a heavy gas powered leaf blower is just not possible. Dragging out a long extension cord to use on my electric blower was a major pain. The cord is never quite long enough, you are constantly tripping on the cord, and taking it everywhere you need it, is not possible. Now Snapper has invented the first cordless Lithium 60 volt Axial blower! The unit only weighs a little over 4 pounds without the battery. The battery that comes with this unit looks huge as does the charging unit, but I was amazed that after installing the battery, the blower really still did not seem very heavy, but instead extremely well balanced. The battery charges in about an hour and is interchangeable with the other Snapper 60 volt tools that are new to the market. The end of the battery has LED lights that will indicate how much battery life is left, when you push the button. I have used the blower several times and the battery level still remains full. Since my area was just hit with a 2 foot snow event, I was not able to demonstrate the blower in use outside, so instead, my video shows blowing leaves out of the garage and on to the snow! While using the blower I was delighted to try out the “cruise control” that allows the user to maintain a certain variable speed, of up to 120 mph, without holding a button down, making hand fatigue a thing of the past! This feature allows the user to lower or raise the speed depending on what type of material you need to remove. This unit is much more powerful than you would think a cordless unit might be. The “brush-less” motor installed in this unit gives great power, run time, and an extremely long life to this blower. The people at Snapper must think so too, as the warranty on this unit is an unprecedented 10 years on the motor, 4 years on the blower, and 2 years on the battery! I expect to happily use this blower for many years to come. Thank you Walmart and Snapper, for bringing such a wonderful product to market!
I received the Snapper 60V Leaf Blower with 2AH Battery and Charger a couple of weeks ago and it has proven its usefullness. I have never owned a leaf blower and never saw a need to have one, but I sure do now. I now no longer see a need to drag a broom around with me as I do yard work. This Snapper 60V Leaf Blower was ten times easier, which means less work for me and I like that. The leaf blower was so easy to assemble, every piece pretty much just snapped together. I charged the battery as I mowed the grass and pruned the roses. When I was ready for the Snapper 60V Leaf Blower, it was ready for me. Clean up was a snap and I wasn't in pain afterwards from sweeping a whole driveway and sidewalk. The Snapper leaf blower even with the battery is less than ten pounds so it's very easy to carry around and not tire easily. I also love that the Snapper 60V Leaf Blower with 2AH Battery and Charger can be set at a lower speed when it doesn't need to be blown that far. A great deal for the price.
I have fallen in love with the Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower. I had a leaf blower that needed an electrical outlet and about 200 feet of extension cord. With the Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower, no cord needed. Now, I must confess that when I got the Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower it was during the winter and and the weather was not conducive to using any type of blower except a snowblower. However, on the first clear day, I put the Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower to the test. It performed like a champ. The Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower comes in four parts. The charger, the battery, the motor and the blower tube. The Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower is lightweight and YOU DON'T NEED AN EXTENSION CORD. Once the battery gets a full charge, it lasts for about an hour to an hour and a half. I highly recommend the Snapper 60V Brushless Axial Blower and should, without a doubt, be added to your arsenal of yard work tools.
I received the Snapper 60V Leaf Blower with 2AH Battery and Charger from the Walmart Spark Reviewer program for free just for an honest review and all I can say Is thank you. Mind you I live in Illinois and at this time of year you would think that there isn't a real reason to get a leaf blower since its winter and there is no leaves to be found so I had to find other ways to check it out for the review and you would be surprised all the uses its good for. To begin with it was professionally packaged as is all walmart Items that are shipped with instructions. After charging it I started out with a light job, I used it to get all the cob webs off my ceiling with the slow speed. Worked great. I then stepped it up a notch and cleaned all my fans, hint, don't do it indoors. That also worked great after the dust settled, oops. At this point I too the hint and went out doors since there was a lighter snow and kicked it up to full power and cleaned my side walks, thats where the power really showed its stuff. After that I could only think of one other thing to try, my double quansit hut garages. All I can say is this is now part of my family and is going no where.
This is a great lawn product. One of the reasons we like it is its lightweight construction & power. The rechargeable battery goes for an hour on low & a half hour on high speed. It takes about an hour to recharge. Its quieter than traditional ones which makes it less obnoxious if you want to use it at a time when neighbors might resent the noise. Because its light, its easy to use it for other jobs as well, like blowing leaves from the gutters & atop higher bushes. Its also easy to crawl around shrubbery & get those pesky ones that rakes can't get to. Its light enough for capable children to help out with plant beds & around planters. Because there aren't fumes to worry about we also used it several times indoors as well. Worked great on feathers after a pillow fight & was useful for corralling other debris for vacuuming. Powerful for its size, efficient & quiet make it a useful tool=would definitely recommend if you're in the market for something lightweight.
As you'll be able to see from the attached video, this battery operated blower will push away the soaked pine needles through the water, as it's raining. That is certainly something to be said for a blower. Using it's universal 60v battery, that powers many other tools in this line; this blower has some heft to it. Not just in weight, it has it in power. For weight, it is lighter than the older corded blower that I regularly use. Not as loud as some blowers, but certainly above or around the noise of a hair dryer, I'd say. It sounds like a wind tunnel motor starting up, & rightly so. There is some lag after squeezing the trigger, about similar to their lawn mower. If you are used to other electric tools, they don't have this lag. It's not a bad thing, I'm just pointing this out. Once it gets going it works flawlessly. Battery life may be a concern for you, but it is justified by not having to deal with a super long power cord. The length of the video, which was done twice (video not to scale), was 1/4 of the battery life, on full power, with a few test tries before hand. Which is blowing water, & rain soaked pine needles off the deck & porch, while it was raining. The convenience of getting to every part of the yard, with out having to uncoil a long cord, is worth that little inconvenience of battery time. You can buy the batteries separate, or you get one with each tool. I like the battery with each tool, as long as you're going to have those tools anyhow, you'll have more than ample amount of battery life to get things done. The activation switch is easy to access, & there is a 'cruise control' option that will hold it in place. Great if you're just using it on a low setting. It works on all settings of course, depends on how much you want it to blow. You can stick the extra batteries in a back pack or something, & carry them along with you, if you're a distance from the charger, just be sure nothing touches the terminals. The batteries aren't that heavy, for so much power. Overall, I really like this blower & already have suggested it to a few friends. The nozzle comes off if you need that, but there really isn't any way of hanging it, so I just leave it in place & hang it with the blower.
I have tons of leaves at my house but right now it’s winter so most of the leaves are very wet and heavy from recent snows that have melted. I didn’t expect the blower to be able to handle my soggy wet leaves but wow it lifted them right up with no problem at all. If it can blow wet leaves this good I'm sure dry ones would be a breeze. So yes I’m very pleased with the blower, I’ve blown all the leaves away from the house, off of the roof, and also blew all the dirt and leaves out of the garage and off the driveway. Oh and when I turned it on for the first time it was in my kitchen so I also accidentally blew all the crud out from underneath the fridge and stove that I didn’t even know was there! All I had to do is charge the battery for an hour and also attach the nozzle to the blower with a simple twist. And it was ready to go. It’s very light weight so it was super easy to hold and carry around. To start it you only have to push and hold the trigger. It has like a 2 second delay before it powers up but when it takes off it’s strong. It also has a cruise feature where you can move a lever to your desired speed and lock it there so you don’t have to keep holding the trigger down. It’s not as loud as others I’ve had. This is my first battery powered blower and I have to say it’s so nice not to have to mess with gas or an electric cord. I also love that the battery is interchangeable with other Snapper tools. It ended up snowing on us again so I’m not very happy that I have to wait for that to melt before I can blow the rest of the leaves out of my yard. It came with the 60V lithium-ion battery and charger and manual. Put together it’s about 40 inches long. Remember to fully charge the battery before your first use.
Snapper 60V Axial Blower. This is definitely and surprisingly NOT what I expected. This seems to me as powerful as a hand held gas blower, without having to hassle with gas or the fumes and smell. The battery is 2.4 pounds and I thought it would feel heavy but it does not. It has great balance to it so you do not notice the weight. This blower comes with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery along with a battery charger. Lithium-ion are batteries that will always give you a full charge. Not like the old batteries that you have to run all the way down before you charge up. This blower even sounds like a gas blower so use your ear plugs. I did think it would be more quiet but the power sure makes up for it. Now I know why people choose Snapper. I love how the battery has a capacity indicator. Touch the button and the panel lights up to tell tell you the % of power available. If the battery is empty the instructions say it takes about an hour to fully charge. I tested this and it took just a little over an hour to give a full charge. Snapper has a real nice warranty. Ten yrs.- on the motor, Two yrs.- on the battery, and It is nice that snapper gives you a number to call them if you have any questions.
received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation - just an honest review. The Snapper 60-volt Leaf Blower is one powerful piece of equipment – think jet engine when you try to imagine the sound this emanates! The 60-volt lithium-ion battery offers 50% more battery power than comparable models out there, yet is supposedly 49% lighter than competitive blowers making it easier for all of your clean up needs on your deck, patio or driveway. The battery pack is BIG and hefty - and adds a lot of weight and heft to this machine but it is well balanced. Snapper claims a 450 cubic feet per minute/ 125 mph wind speed through the Briggs & Stratton brushless motor (which means it’ll last a long time). The Snapper 60v battery pack is interchangeable throughout their product line! 5 different tools can work off the same battery - mow, trim, prune, cut, and/or blow. No more gas to hassle with – and no power cords to limit your activity! Jet turbine design takes a few seconds to get to maximum power before full speed achieved. Nozzle tube easily attaches with a Ľ turn and has a metal bezel ring on the outside. Trigger button on handle for adjustable speed, or “cruise-control” lever on side locks in the power button for longer runs and relieve you of hand fatigue. Supposed to run for up to an hour on a charge – but that’s probably not on full power. Measurements are: 39 1/3”l x 7”h x 10 ľ”w. 2 year battery warranty, 4 year limited warranty, and a 10 year motor warranty. You won’t find a better warranty out there. Over 7 pounds in weight. We love the Snapper 60V system and Leaf Blower – lots of power – pretty light weight – the total package!
I got the Snapper 60v Brushlessaxial Blower with a 2.5ah Battery, plus a One Hour Charger from the Walmart Spark review program I just have to try it out and write a review on the product. The Snapper 60v leaf blower is powerful for being light weight. When you try this leaf blower out you would see the sound that it emits is not really that loud. The 60v lithium-ion battery offers 50% more battery power than comparable models out there, yet is supposedly lighter than competitive blowers making it easier for all of your clean up needs, maybe like blowing the leaves off your roof like my husband did, or maybe your deck or yard or maybe your garage. There are multiple places you can use it. The battery pack is a little on the large size so it adds a large amount of weight. It no to much as to make it too heavy to carry the machine, but it is well balanced. The Snapper 60v battery pack is interchangeable throughout their product line, with 5 different tools that can work off the same battery, so you can mow, trim, prune, cut, and or blow with it. There is no gas to mix or pour into the motor, so no spills to clean up or fumes to deal with, then also no power cords to get in the way or hinder your job. It has a jet turbine design and it takes a few seconds to get to maximum power, before full blower speed is achieved. The nozzle tube easily attaches with an "l" turn and has a metal ring on the outside. The trigger button is on the hadle for adjustable speed, the lever locks on the side for the power button so you do not have to keep your finger on it. It says the battery should last for an hour on a full charge but that is not if you use it at full speed is does not last for an hour. So would I recommend this to others yes I would.
