Got it the other day right on time when my other one broke down! Great to have, and will buy another one later on!
Light weight and powerful, easy to use and worked great
I love the spring assist starter rope recoil. A slow steady pull is all that is need to get mine to start. No yanking and jerking like you would with a lawn mower, just a steady slow pull to over come the compression resistance, and away it goes. I looked at a lot of different gas blowers at several retail outlet stores like Home Depot, Sears, Lowes, and even Amazon. I was looking for a gas blower that works well with someone who is right handed. If you plan to hold the unit with your right hand you want the vacuum port facing away from you, not towards you or you will have issues with your shorts getting sucked against the air inlet unless you switch to your left hand. I also like the secondary hand grip which makes it easy to control the unit when blowing out the bed of my truck or any elevated surface. My only complaint is the unit I purchased idles a little fast. The throttle cable is about 1/16" to short which could be fixed perhaps by remounting the cable in the clamp to give a little more slack but for me its not a big enough issue to mess with at this point since the clamp is not easily removed. The blower does a good job blowing out debris caught in sidewalk seams and cracks. The power of the unit is good, the weight is fair. To make it any lighter, parts would have to be made out of styrofoam. Starts first pull after warmed up. So there you have it. My personal opinion on my purchase. Hope this helps someone out there who may be considering one of these.
Wish i had checked ratings before buying. As a blower works ok. You are constantly working against the gyroscopic force of the motor. As a vacuum this is useless. Hard to put together pieces to adapt as vacuum and extremely hard to use, no good way to position it to vacuum and keep the bag from falling off your shoulder. Blade locks up on small pieces of pine bark. 2 craftsman blower/vacs lasted me 20 years, thought iwould give snapper a try, never again.
I purchased it to do some light yard work and clean the garage and the second time that I used it it's seized up the pool springlocked could not get the cord go in or the cord to go back I would not recommend this it's a piece of junk
