This is the best trimmer we've ever had. We had bought the LST220 3 years ago, and it was a wonderful product; however, it finally died this year. So we went on line to find another, but found the higher performance LST420 for around the same price we paid 3 years ago for the 220. My husband is very pleased with the 420 - it's weight as well as it's performance. And it uses the same batteries as the old 220, so now we have 4 batteries. We'd recommend the 420 to anyone. It is living up to everything they say about it and we love it.
