This was an exact replacement for the one I purchased in 2016. I accidently dropped it on the reel and broke the plastic lever that controls the line release. This thing is light weight and so easy to use. Replacing the reel is a cinch and it is so easy to adjust the length of the handle. Best of all, it's cordless! Currently have 5 B%26D 20-volt tools and absolutely love them!
I was replacing my old Black and Decker. I found the trimmer on Walmarts site for a great price.
Light and powerful... edged the normal sized yard and house with battery to spare. Unit is lighter and shorter than B&D trimmer I had in past, but still did the job well.
Second time buying this very same one, love ve it
This is my second purchase of a Black and Decker trimmer. I had one for over 10 years and I just had to replace it with this model. I first tried a cheaper brand and quit it after 2 times . I visited my trusted brand Black and Deckers website and purchased this model. I have used it 4 times already and it is effortless. I love all the functions this trimmer has. Never go wrong buying a Black and Decker product.
Have an old coded model forever. Just wanted to ditch the cord. I love the easy reload spools. Have a Kobalt with double line, hard to load so I bought this one
Good for grass, need tougher or higher voltage for bigger weeds in yard. Weed vines get all caught up in the stool. Charger attachment is very small. I purchased a second battery after I did not realize the battery was already attached to the charger. Could have better instructions.
Not totally satisfied with the trimmer. I think it was overpriced.
I contacted customer service and have not received a battery replacement. It is a Black and Decker 20v lithium battery
This was the only cordless available in store so I got it. The battery life is absolutely terrible. YOu will get 20 - 25 minutes tops out of it and it does not handle thick growth either. Would strongly advise against this trimmer.
