I have a semi-enclosed outdoor patio. Because it is semi-enclosed, I can't use a gas heater. This heater makes it feel 3-4 degees warmer, just enough so that I can eat outside much of the year.
I'm happy with my purchase. I use it in my covered patio and is easily moved within the patio. I also take it camping and hang it from the gazebo over the picnic table. It's very handy.
Received mine today. Easy set up. Warmed up area by 4 degrees within 30 minutes. The heater is doing exactly what I needed it to do.
This hanging halogen light fixture type of heater is what we were looking for to add a little warmth to our patio and gazebo area. It adds enough warmth to cool summer and fall evenings, but is not warm enough for cold winter days. I tested the temperature after it was on about 15 minutes and it went up about 10 degrees. It is attractive and easy to install. After about half an hour it went up another 5 degrees, but if it is windy out, it is not as warm. We have enjoyed using it for the last several months and stay outside much longer on lovely cool evenings.
I purchased this product over one year ago and it worked so good I purchased another one for use in a different location. I live in Southern California but the mornings and evenings in the fall, winter, and spring are very cool. I use the heater to sit outside and read the paper and also have one over the outside bar to take the chill off. Very economical to use and the 3 heat settings are great.
This is huge! Love the finish. Keeps the chill off. Perfect for our needs.
We just installed this on our small deck and seems to do what we wanted.
This is not the kind of heater you would use when its real cold. It is not warm enough for our MN. winter. We like to have a cocktail and get some fresh air at the same time, but we still like it for when its above 32 degrees. HAPPY HOUR AT OUR HOME. (")
