Great replacement and was easy to install. Well made and works even better than the original. Puts out lot's of heat.
Easy to install and works perfectly. It also includes the hose that was already attached si I didn't have to deal with that.Only issue I had was that it fits on top of a 2 1/2 inch pipe and mine was 3 inches. I simply bought 4 longer screws and that solved the problem. Saved me a lot of money because I didn't have to but a new heater.
This is an exact replacement for the basic heater made by AZ (and apparently sold under a few different names) The best deal that I could find on the entire heater was $112, by replacing just the head, I was able to save half. Let's face it, it's always the burner head that goes bad on these. One note: it says that the regulator isn't included - it actually was, so this replaces all the "guts" of the heater. Work perfectly easy to put together
Arrived intact. Did not measure old heater which has a 2 inch pole. Would not fit. My fault.
Fire Cylinder Screen had a large dent in it. Pounded it out. LP GAS regulator was no good. Had to use the old one. Mounted it to pole, and it did fire right up. Seems to operate correctly.
Didn't fit my pole. States for 2 1/2" pole was too wobbly. Returned it due to safety concerns.
Did not work. I can't say if it was just a fluke in production or not. They've been out of stock and I've been unable to get a replacement. I will update this review if or when I do.
Very poor quality and had to send it back.
Received the first item, installed it, connected to a new tank - the pilot light won't light up. Called customer service, got advised to pull a regulator and a hose from a working heater to ensure the regulator isn't an issue. Done it - won't light up. Received a replacement unit today: won't light up. Followed all procedures, turn to Pilot, push the tab in wait 20 seconds, then start pushing the red button. I can see the spark - but no light (it's not windy either), tried to start it with a match - no joy. Very sad - thought that buying and installing a whole new $130 heater would be more time consuming.
