I purchased these for our pool area. It took me about 15 minutes to put them together. They looked great but it was recommended that you put an oil based penetrating stain on them. I did that, taking me about 15 minutes each. I love them so much I ordered another set. They are sturdy, roomy, and look wonderful.
I bought 4 bar stools to go with the Delahey Bar Center. 3 for the front and 1 for the back (for the "bartender"). They were very easy to put together, I think it took my husband 10 minutes to put all 4 together. They seem pretty sturdy so far! Only complaint is that they dont match the Delahey Patio Furniture. Its a lighter shade

These stools are just what I had been looking for. The price was great and they are very stylish and handy to have. I have bragged on the stools from the first day that I got them.

I bought these stools as an addition to my pation furniture. They look really good. Seem to be sturdy. I do recommend if you are going to leave outside, use a varnish or sealant as soon as you receive them. But overrall very pleased w/ these stools.
These stools are a good buy; generally well-made and easy to assemble. Delahey provides one extra screw, nut, etc., with each assembly kit in case something goes wrong, which I like. Unfortunately, with this set, one of the seat slats was made with a piece of wood with a knot in it, which split the first time it was sat on. Just luck of the draw, I guess. I'll be returning the set, but ordering a replacement set and keep my fingers crossed!
I ordered these to accompany other Delahey pieces I purchased (not the coordinating bar) and just note that they are a much lighter wood than the other Delahey furniture. I returned them before I even put them together so I can not comment on them other than that.
I'll start by saying that the bar stools actually are very nice. That said, the craftsmanship was a little disappointing. I wanted 6 stools for my patio bar. Initially, I purchased two pairs. Out of the four stools, two were good, one was ok and the fourth arrived broken. I returned one pair and ordered two more pairs. Same results, two were good, two arrived broken. I returned the broken pair and ordered one more pair. One was ok, one was broken. So, all together, I ordered 5 pairs and ended up with 5 bar stools (and a couple of spare parts). I like them a lot but I'm not sure it was worth all frustration and trips to the store!
Disappointed that the stain on the bar stools is a completely different color than the Delahey Chat Set I purchased. The bar stools are honey-colored, while all four pieces in the Chat Set are a rich reddish/chocolatey brown.
