MY FIANCEE FIRST SAW THIS HEATER AT MY BOSSES HOUSE, AND REALLY WANTED ONE. I STARTED SHOPPING AROUND ON THE INTERNET TO FIND THE BEST PRICE. NOT ONLY DID I GET THE BEST PRICE AT WALMART I SAVED AT LEAST $100.00. SAVING ON THE SHIPPING WAS EVEN BETTER. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SHOPPED WALMART ON-LINE.I USED THE SITE-TO-STORE AND IT WAS GREAT. MY FIANCEE HASN'T GOTTEN HIS PATIO HEATER YET IT IS A GIFT BUT I AM SURE HE IS GOING TO LOVE IT. ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO BUY BUY ONE OF THEESE, I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW THE TOP DOES NOT GET HOT YOU CAN ACTUALLY PUT BAR STOOLS AROUND IT AND HAVE FOOD OR DRINKS ON THE TOP. IT IS GREAT
We love the Bistro heater...it has enabled us to extend the season and enjoy cocktail hour outdoors even if the colder fall months.
hard to assemble (60 or more screws, lots of pressure), top catches rain and it is made of steel which means we have to be careful about leaving it out. Otherwise, works and is smaller than standard heaters, though not as hot.
First...Know that this comes in a box COMPLETELY unassembled!! It took me all day to assemble (I admit I am a girl :) Once I got everything together and working I was ready for the big WOW!! I was rather let down when I realized that the heat wouldn't radiate out that far. I would say it's ok for a small area, but don't count on it warming you out on the patio if the heater is not right up on you. It's really cute--but for the money....consider a better value!
