Our family loves this swing. We have had it for a little over a month. We have always wanted a swing for our deck and so far it has been perfect. It seems durable and is comfortable. It converts into a little bed which has been alot of fun for sleeping out on this summer. It definitely takes two to put it together. Overall it has been great fun!
This swing is really nice... I just put it together a few days ago and it fits perfectly on the balcony of my apartment. I put it together by myself and I will say it would definitely have been easier with another set of hands, but I was able to get it done alone. I would definitely recommend this swing for anyone wanting to relax outside! **TIP** Don't completely tighten the screws until the next step has been completed because you will need some give to align the screws with the holes.
The swing is great and is great quality. However, it was challenging to put together as the directions were not easy to follow. After 2 hours, I was able to put the swing together.
The swing was generally what I had expected and performs well. The assembly directions were clear and it wasn't difficult at all to put together. The frame is also a little more heavy duty than others I had looked at. The only thing I don't like about this swing is that the seat bottom needs a little more support. Maybe some nylon netting or latticework would firm it up a little where you won't "sink," especially when you sit in the middle. I plan on getting some netting of some kind and do it myself...............
Its a lot to put together and it could use a little more support in the seating area. I am going to get some lawn chair webbing and add 2 straps under the seat cushion. Think this will help alot. If you are using this swing where it is exposed to wind, you should also anchor it, as it will blow over easily and can damage the top frame. With all that said, I still feel like this is a great product at an unbeatable price!
The swing frame itself has been durable and has made it through 2 moves; we've had it over 3 years. However, the wind, sun, rain, snow, has ruined the fabric awning and cushion. It's totally fallen apart and I've looked everywhere and cannot find replacement cushions. It would be nice if the company or wal-mart sold these replacement cushions and awning top.
The cushions are not thick enough. when you sit down the bar on the frame digs into you legs. It needs better cushions
This swing arrived scratched & starting to rust. We decided to put it together & keep it anyway because we figured it would eventually get that way over time with normal use. However, the seat was so uncomfortable we both got sore backs after sitting in it for an hour or so the first evening. The seat & back have very little support and you both slide toward the middle. We thought we wanted one that could lie flat but it was really uncomfortable to sit in & not worth it for the few times you might lie down. We returned the swing and purchased the one with the small tables attached. We're much happier with that one.
I live in an area that is somewhat breezy most of the time but thought this swing looked pretty sturdy. It was up for all of two days and this morning we went outside to find the canopy on the ground and the bolts actually bent and snapped now we have to spend more money to try and fix it. I was very dissappointed
I am very disappointed in the swing that purchased from Wal-Mart. 6 years ago I bought a wonderful 3 person swing from you. This new one doesn't even begin to be the same quality as the previous one. Even the cushions, which are non-exsitiant on the new swing. Not a happy customer at all this time.
