I purchased this glider and absolutely love it. The color was what I had expected and pictured. It was very easy to put together - I did it myself with a little help from my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. I was really amazed at how simple it was and now my grandson knows what a nut, bolt and washer are. He plugged the holes with the wooden plugs all by himself. It is very sturdy and I had no problem with the gliding motion being stiff as I had read in other reviews. I would highly recommend this glider to anyone who wants a beatiful addition to their garden/yard.
I bought the product online very scepticle on what was going to be shipped to me. Also I was afraid of the shipping cost- but when I ordered it they had an option where I could have it shipped to the nearest wal mart and it was free. It was shipped there in less than a week and I was stoked.. when we got it out it was very easy to assemble and was a very beautiful stained wood. I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone who needed or wanted a wooden glider.
I love this glider....I put it together myself...and it works great....it's not a swing but it glides like a glider should...the other review made me leary but I think they put the glider brackets on backwards...I put one of them on backwards which I immedicately could see and when I turned it around it was fine...I love it with all the other pieces on my patio....looks great...have the swing and table and chairs
We looked for wooden benches for our front porch at a variety of patio and unfinished furniture stores. By far this was the best value out there. We ordered two of these benches--one for the porch and one for the carport. It gives an elegant, finished appearance to our front yard--great curb appeal. Sturdy dark wood, shiny brass finish on all of the hardware. It's holding up just fine to the FL weather--I'm sure we'll have to paint on a protective finish at some point, but the dark oil finish is beautiful. One of the benches arrived with 2 left arms--OOPs. Not to worry though, I just called the Delahey 1800 number printed on the box. The customer service rep put the right arm in the mail right away and shipped it directly to our address--not site-to-store. Great bench, great customer service from Delahey. Now I want Delahey furniture on my back patio.
My husband put the glider together last night, and was really impressed with the quality. It is very comfortable and glides nicely.
This product was very easy to buy and pick up at Walmart--great way to buy! Problem occurred when it was assembled....the base included two of one side (2 right sides, no left side) which made it look a little weird. However, my husband managed to assemble it as it was to be a gift and was needed ASAP. I called the company and they agreed to send the needed piece without cost to me. Received the part today and it will be corrected by the recipient. Could have done without that problem, but the company was very cooperative, so it turned out alright. Again, I would not hesitate to buy a product in this manner....it saved lots of time!
I received the Glider Bench and it was missing one bolt upon delivery. I called the toll-free number and they sent out a replacement free of charge (arrived in about one week). The bench is now assembled and makes for a very nice additon to my backyard poolside landscaping project.
You get what you pay for. The material is poorly stained and the wood is of poor quality. The company that support this item for Wal Mart promised to supply the needed missing part. After 10 days, I still have not received from the missing item from this supplier. I have had this unit half assembled for 10 days now.
The first thing we noticed upon taking it out of the box is that the wood is severely scratched up. Scratches usually don't bother me, but these are deep and very ugly, disfiguring the wood. It's a lovely glider, but the first thing you notice are these hideous scratches. And it's not like it's only a few either! It's the last time I order furniture from Walmart.
Received the product 2 months ago. One of the boards on the seat was broken, one of the legs was cracked and I received two left sides of the base and no right side base. Customer service was willing to send replacements but did not have the pieces in stock. Still ahvent received the correct base. In two months I have treated it twice with teak oild but the wood is already starting to crack.
