I shopped around for a product like this for a long time, and this is by far the best I found anywhere online or otherwise. I was definatly cautious at first, given the comparativly low price, so my expectations were lower, but I was hopeful. I've only had it for about a week, and so far so good. It definatly looks great, no one will guess or beleive that I bought it at Wal-Mart, no offence to Wal-Mart. But it could definatly pass for an item from an expensive mall store. The shipping was a bit scetchy, and it took a bit to arrange the delivery, and when I saw the box that it arrived in I got really nervous. However, the item arrived virtually undamaged. Only one of the the planks that supports the drink tray had a superficial crack, but it will not effect the stability of the chaise or even the drink tray, so I am not worried. It is really comfortable, and impressively well made, the corners, for those who care about this sort of thing, are dovetail construction, so I was really impressed with that. Assembly was very easy, although I do recommend a drill, it will go much faster. The aesthetic is great, clean lines and the color is nice. I will be oiling it to keep it the color it arrived, and I'm hoping it will hold up. But honestly, for the price, I would be willing to replace it, three or four replacements will still be cheaper than a similar product from another vendor, but anyway, it does seem well made and I think will last. I bought two individual cushions and tied them together, and the look quite good on it. Oh, the size is also really substantial, at first I wasn't sure, but I lay on with my fiance, and he is not small, and we were both comfortable. Also, I like the fact that it is made from sustainably grown trees, so that is just a pleasant plus. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone, it is a great deal, and a great product for any price. Thank you, Wal-Mart!
We love the double chaise and the whole delahey line. It is an exceptional price for outdoor furniture, which can be insanely expensive. I did a lot shopping around and this was by far the best value. It was very easy to assemble and can be done by one person. The only issue I had was that the pre-drilled holes for the wheels were not deep enough, but everything else was a breeze. It is beautiful and comfortable and great for two to enjoy a gorgeous sunny day.
My husband and I had seen this product and next thing we know it was sold out!! We were horrified but kept our faith and it was back online. We have only had it about 2 weeks now but almost daily we lounge on it after a hard day at work!! Very well built and we hope the wood will hold up in our hot climate (I already treated with teak oil).

THE PRICE YOU COULDN'T BEAT EVERYWHERE ELSE WANTED SO MUCH I JUST FIGURED IF IT DIDN'T LAST WHATS THE BIG DEAL EXAMPLE POTTERY BARNS DOUBLE CHAISE IS OVER 1,000.00 I COULDN'T SEE SPENDING SO MUCH AND HAVE IT SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE HOT FL SUN?? SO I GOT THE GREAT LOOK FOR LESS! I SPENT THE MONEY ON OTHER CUSHIONS AND IT LOOKS AWESOME! SO FAR SO GOOD!!!
Good quality and easy to put together. Was impressed that everything was labled and had extra screws/washers in the packaging. It is a bit on the small side (shorter than expected) - but seems to be comparable to other double-chaise lounges out there on the market. Definitely worth the money! Also ordered the pad - it was pretty boring - so I recovered it myself. Add a few pillows and it is the perfect lounger.
New to inground pool world and searched for affordable outdoor furniture and found it in this collection. Happy with this double chaise. Appears sturdy, looks great. A couple of small packing scratches but otherwise VERY VERY good price. We are planning to winter inside and out of elements. We love the double style and are already using as additional platform seating!
For the price, you can't beat this chaise. Quite sturdy and styled well, I am anxious to see how it wears. Again, not complaining for the price. I shopped a lot for something similar. Design wise and price wise, I am very pleased. I intend to sleep under the star this summer...I live in the desert. An outdoor bed is great! I also got the accompanying pad for it. I was really thinking it would be thin and not well made, but very surprised at the density and quality.
The chair arrived in a little over a week. It is very nice looking and easy to put together (less than 1 hour). Three of the pre screwed slats came loose from the frame (but did not break) in shipping - we glued them and they seem to be fine. The piece seems durable enough though when my 200 lb husband sits on it is seems to bow a tweak on his side. This would not deter me from purchasing it even if we had purchased it from the store. It is a great value. If I get 3-4 years out of it I will be thrilled.
The chaise feels a little flimsy. The slats are not very thick; they have some "give" to them even when my 75 lb & 95 lb dogs jumped up with me (I'm only 120 lbs) It is comfortable, but if you're a larger person this may not be the chaise for you.
The first time I had it delivered I had to refuse it because the box had fallen apart in transit and I wouldn't have known if anything was missing. The second time I received it the box it was partially opened but after inspecting it I felt everything was there except when the following day the delivery person came back with all the hardware that had fallen out of the box. When assembling, a couple of screws that had to be screwed was very difficult because the holes were very little and we had to bring out the drill motor to make holes just to get the screws started. Once assembled my son who is not a big person sat on it and heard it crack and sure enough a board cracked on it. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or send it back at this time. The whole experience was a big disappointment.
