This glider was easy to assemble; I did it by myself last Spring. My husband and I with our 2 dogs fit comfy together while enjoying our backyard. My only gripe is with the cover I purchased last year. We had a windy & snowy winter and I had to use bungee cords to keep the cover on. Just last week, the seams tore all to pieces due to the wind and rain. I thought it would last for a few more years. So I'm off to find a more heavy duty cover for my big girl swing.
I've had the swing for a couple of months now. I absolutely LOVE it!! I wanted a swing for a long time and am very happy with this one. And, I didn't even know it was a hammock too when I ordered it!! AWESOME!!! Granted the cushions are not very thick, the swing is still quite comfortable!!
I love this Swing! It is comfy! It is made of nice material. The seat portion can lay flat to make a bed and you can lock it into place so it does not swing when it is laying flat! The colors are pretty. It looks really nice put together! I would definitely recommend his product!
Easy to assemble. Price is right. Wide enough for 3 adults. Relaxation redefined!
I ordered this swing on the Wal-Mart website using the "Site-to-Store" shipping service. The shipping was slow (2+ weeks) and when it finally arrive the box had been torn away and part of the swing damaged. Thankfully the store where I went to pick it up had more in stock. And, the bright spot was that instead of paying $178 that I thought I was going to pay, the store actually had the unit on clearance and I only had to pay $88. I just put the swing together today and it took a little over an hour, but the instructions were by far above average compared to most that come with products like this manufactured overseas. So far, the swing seems to be of good quality and is pretty comfortable. I do wish the cushions were a little thicker, however my wife seems to think they are fine. It's probably just becuase I'm heavier that she (but still average for a man) and could use a little more padding. All in all, I'm very satisfied -- can't wait to head out and relax on it this afternoon!
There are four rods that the swing hangs from. One of them was five inches longer than the others. It had the correct #11 sticker on it but, it obviously was not the correct part. I modified it to work for now and called the manufacturer. They told me they would send one out. That was over two weeks ago! If it were not for this I would be completly satisfied with this product. Hopefully the correct part shows up soon.
While I am satisfied with the product I had to return the original purchase due to damaged parts. When I repurchased the product it was $20.00 more. Still nice enough swing.
the swing is large and can fit my teenagers. it's just right for laying around on nice days, it was not hard to set up but should have two people. I love this swing!
I have been begging my husband to get me a bench swing so I can have "mini-vacations" away from the kids, so I was delighted when he finally gave in and gave me the green light on this purchase. It was very easy to put together, and feels sturdy. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the actual seat isn't very deep, and it sits low to the ground. I'm 5'9 so maybe someone with shorter legs may disagree with me. The directions recommend that you store the cushions out of the rain which is kind of a pain, but everything else about it is good.
The price seemed great and so did the quality (at first) but I purchased this item last May as a Mother's Day gift and by August, the fabric of the cushions just began to fall apart, almost as if it was dry-rotted. I am completely disgusted... Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
