The chairs were all but completed right out of the box. The table took me about an hour to put together with the Allen wrenches which are included. The instructions are not the best, but I got it figured out. The chair seats are long (front to back), but placing a pillow behind your back will solve that if you have shorter legs like me; they fit my husband great. The balcony height is in between counter height and bar height, perfect for us. Lovely addition to our deck!
I had been looking tall chairs and table for months- everything i looked for (homegoods, tjmaxx, marshalls, ross, hobby lobby, etc) was so expensive. Once I found this SET with cushions, i was so excited! The one sent to me, which I put together and kept, had obviously been bought and returned as some parts were put together already and i could see some wear on the bottom of a chair. Other than that, I LOVE this set- it was larger than I had expected and is very sturdy! The cushions are good for being included in the price, but will probably have to be replaced after being outdoors fairly soon. My brother helped me put it together- this was so much quicker and easier than doing it all! (all parts come with box). I highly recommend, great product for great price and Im usually VERY very picky!!
I reviewed bistro sets for several weeks when I found this one. I liked that it looked nice, had good reviews and was under $200 dollars. I ordered it on-line, a simple process. I received it in 5 days. It was packaged well- I was concerned as it has a glass top. The instructions were clear and it was easy to assemble. The set is lovely, the cushions are attractive as is the black powder coating. I have received several compliments already and a few were surprised that I purchased at Walmart!!! I have it in my indoor patio area and I love it!!!
This set arrived earlier than expected and was easy to put together. One hole in the table base was not drilled properly but it did not affect the stability of the table since I was able to secure the bolt. We do need to replace the chair cushions with some that are more comfortable. I would recommend this set to anyone who needs a bar top table for a small balcony.
This is a simple outdoor set that is as advertised. The iron is a little flimsy and cheap, but what can be expected for the price. I put this on my patio and have already gotten my money's worth out of it.
The parts needed were shrink wrapped that made it easy to do the preliminary inventory. An extra Allen Wrench was included when one wrench got stripped. They must have anticipated this could have been a problem. It was a problem but to their credit a solution was provided. There was no leveling mechanism with the table or stools so I could only correct by adding pads to get everything leveled with the floor. I will keep and use the produce .... but I am not delighted.
The description was not well written; the picture did not express the color of the metal & the cushions appeared different in the photo. The description should have been more specific. I don't believe that I would have purchased it had I know the actual color of the metal & cushions but once it was hauled upstairs I wasn't about to try and return it. I still believe that it is a value for the money.
Really nice looking set, but the holes to attach the legs are not even and a support bar is slanted as opposed to straight. The cushions do not dry quickly. Because of previous reviews indicating a rust problem, I sprayed it all with a clear rust preventer. Really nice looking. Good for my light use. Great value compared to a similar piece.
The set looks great and the chairs are just the right height. The cushions flatten down to nothing and the front bar on the seat digs into your legs -very uncomfortable. The cushions will have to be replaced asap. It was relatively easy to assemble. Shipping was supossed to be 3 to 5 days but it arrived in TWO days! I really like the set but I am not happy that I have to buy better cushions.
When I opened the container, the box did not have any bolts, washers, or an Allen wrench to assemble the table and chairs. I had to call customer service to have the parts sent to me. I also saw that one if the chairs is unraveling on the woven portion of the backrest. No quality control at the manufacturer.
