I wish I could find this product more.It is a must to keep the Woodpeckers coming back plus the other birds here love it.
As a backyard birder I have been using C%26S peanut delight logs for years. I like it because Delight does not melt in the summer heat in Texas. All of our birds go to it now. It is also good for adult birds to feed their young in spring and early summer. I split the log lengthways and put one half in a cylindrical feeder along with shelled peanuts.
Fantastic product that holds up well and attracts all the birds from Pileated Woodpeckers to cardinals and all the song birds
nice price and the birds love it and I enjoy watching the birds and their habits
I have a feeder that came as part of a set, I couldn't find anything to fit properly in it and the holes are really large. This fit perfectly, and they love it (just like they love the regular shaped peanut delight). It doesn't last quite as long as some other brands of suet, but if you're looking to attract more woodpeckers, this is the way!
these are so easy and convenient to add to my birdfeeder i have or you can hang by enclosed way with the ring and bar that comes with suet log. price not to bad at the moment.
it takes the birds a few days to figure out how to eat this but when they do, it's on.
The product itself is good %26 birds seem to like it. The problem I have %26 it is a BIG problem is with the packaging/shipping. It is put in a flimsy shipping bag with ZERO protection so by the time it's delivered it is crushed to a powdery mess!! When I order a 3 pack of gum it comes in a box with packing so I don't get how someone would think a flimsy bag would be a better alternative than a box for a fragile item. I don't have money to waist buying items multiple times. SMH s
My birds have barely touched this, except for a few blackbirds that constantly try to get at it..better off with regular suet I think.
Too hard and suet gets wasted. You feed the wildlife on the ground more than the birds. Like the block suet that goes in the hanging square basket, there's nowhere for the birbs to hang on and eat.
