How easy was this La Crosse Technology Wireless Color Display Weather Forecast Station to set up. And it became operational right away. The outside sensor was very easy to hang. The display is good to view. I like the size. Doesn't take up much room. This was worth the purchase.
I have had earlier version of these weather stations before. It would constantly lose connection with the remote sensor, and was not reliable. This one stays connected, and the temperatures agree with other thermometers in the area. I am generally pleased with this unit. I bought my brother one last year and my mother-in-law one this year. They seem to be happy with their units as well.
Had it for a couple of weeks. This replaces one I bought years ago that finnally quite. It is a bit smaller than the other one and a little harder to read and I did not know that I had to plug it in so that would be the only thing I do not like about it. Would rather have battery operated.
I bought this two weeks ago and so far, it seems accurate. It's easy to set up, the display is comprehensive, and the display is large enough to view all the features without squinting. Also, there is enough light from the display so that It acts as a night light in a darkened room.
It keeps me informed easy to set up. Nice graphics. Very accurate.
I have about two months now and it works very well. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be but I can see all the numbers that I use a lot well. Would buy again. The outside sensor is different than the one in picture. It has read outs on it as well, but I don't know why.
This is my 3rd weather station, and the best yet. It is easy to set up, true wireless with no wires on the outside sensor, atomic time, and a bright color display that does not fade. The USB charge port is an extra feature. The price at Walmart was the best out there. I highly recommend this La Crosse weather station.
I'm really pleased with the size and brightness. We had a old Lacrosse weather forecast station which was hard to read. But since we bought this it has lost the outdoor sensor 4 times and we have to reset it. Not sure if we just have a faulty one. Should probably go exchange it, but i just haven't gotten around to it. But all in all we really like it except for that.
Disappointed that the description does NOT fully explain that unless the unit is plugged into AC power, the display is unreadable unless you press the back-light button. The batteries in the main unit are for backup power only, not primary power. Bought this to use in an RV and was not a good choice. For use in a house would be a great unit. I own another La Crosse weather station that DOES run on batteries, so will leave this one in the house and take the old unit in the RV.
The colors are not like in the picture. The picture makes it look black with color numbers. Mine it green numbers over green background for outside. Orange over orange Inside. It's hard to read unless looking straight at it. Not happy with it at all since I expected it to look much nicer as shown online
