[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these ratchet straps frequently for my atv's and SxS. Early this spring I had trouble with bears in my trash cans, I used these smart straps to lock lids down. The bears constantly wrestle with the cans and can't get them open!!
Because safety on the road is number one.You have to secure your load so it doesn't shift while hauling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as we needed something that could hold down a hot tub in the back of a truck and this worked better then we thought it would. The hot tub didnt shift or move and it was easy to use. Definitely would reccomend this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before we bought the usual Walmart homdepot straps they worked and such but spending the emotes 10 dollars was worth it definitely strong easy to work with not getting frustrated or annoyed and they look godo going down the road hauling your side x side tractor quad atv dirt bike and they get the job done even better then before so thanks smart straps for the reliability of them
I bought this (4) pack of blaze orange Retractable Ratchet Straps 10-15 years ago for my dad, and they have performed flawlessly, weather it was deer hunting, fishing or anything they worked great. If there was anything that I would consider adding, it would be to have a Retractable Ratchet Strap that is 20' long and rated for 2000 lbs.(1 ton). I am having trouble with 1 of them retracting, I hope that they are rebuildable and or free replacement
Rewind spring Broke, I came here to look for a replacement spring and saw the reviews. (2) 5 star, (19) 5 star "incentivized reviews" = paid. (1) 4 star "incentivized revew" Paid. and (10) 1 star reviews. I guess you don't care about the product or the suckers that purchase your product. You should be ashaimed.
I wish I read the reviews before buying these. I used them the first time this week to haul my motorcycle and all of the straps came loose. I stopped multiple times to check them and each time at least 2 straps were completely slack. I don't trust these straps. I wouldn't waste your money on these.
Its funny that you say that we must have gotten a bad batch of these Smart Straps. But many reviews say the same thing. I like mine for the first month or so and then they would not retract. I took one apart and the spring broke in about 15 pieces
Bought a set of 4 ratcheting ratchet straps and after using them about 4 times I had 2 of them break and the others have now quit retracting. Looks like good craftsmanship but just poor quality with mechanism. Threw them away because feel they have become unsafe. Dont recommends
I bought these straps to use for volunteer work I do for my church. We collect furniture for the poor. I used them once to secure furniture in the bed of my pick up. Ever since then, the strap is locked up on the spool and I can't get the latch to release. I know it's too late for me since the 90 day warranty has expired, but I don't want others to make the same mistake and buy this product with many others to choose.
